Historic Lake Cottage
Questa casa storica è stata costruita nel 1928 da legname fresato sulla proprietà ed è un posto meraviglioso per godersi le fresche acque limpide del Lago Burton. Le quattro camere da letto, tre bagni sono su un terreno piatto e ha una delle migliori viste sul lago con splendide viste sul tramonto.
Tre camere da letto sono al livello principale e una quarta camera da letto è al piano di sopra. La camera da letto principale ha un letto king size con un bagno annesso. Dall'altro lato della casa ci sono due camere da letto. Una camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale e l'altra ha due letti singoli e queste camere condividono un bagno. La camera da letto della famiglia al piano di sopra ha un letto matrimoniale e quattro letti singoli con un bagno annesso.
All'esterno troverete un altalena vecchio stile, due amache e un pozzo del fuoco. C'è spazio per un gioco avvincente di pallavolo o badminton.
L'appezzamento di terreno conduce al lago che ha un ingresso poco profondo che si approfondisce rapidamente per nuotare o galleggiare sulle zattere. Gioca in acqua o prendi i due kayak o la canoa fino a Murray Cove. Ci sono posti a sedere sul molo o sopra la darsena per sorvegliare quelli in o sull'acqua.
Se vuoi dondolare sul portico e ascoltare il rumore di una porta che si chiude, questa casa fa per te. Puoi bere da bicchieri in alluminio vecchio stile, giocare a ping pong, fare il gelato fatto in casa e cucinare sulla griglia. Puoi terminare la tua giornata al focolare che arrostisce i marshmallows, ascoltando le dolci onde calmarsi e osservare l'arrivo degli insetti luminosi.

My family and I had a great time this past weekend. The house is on a beautiful, large lot, and the home is well equipped with everything you need to have a great time at the lake. The views are amazing. We loved sitting on the back porch and my husband caught a pretty large bass off of the dock! We even saw a beaver. I live in an old house, so I appreciated the character and charm. It feels like you’re visiting your grandparents lake house. They have games, a fire pit, books, and a breathtaking view.

Third time here and we’re going again next summer. Need I say more? The communication issue is with the VRBO process. Cumbersome and sometimes frustrating. It’s not the host’s problem.

Our family just had the best weekend!! The cottage is so charming with beautifully restored wood floors, comfy beds, modern kitchen appliances and designer bathrooms. It felt so comfortable like home! The big water trampoline was a hit with the kids and all of us loved floating around and playing in the lake. Another fun thing for the kids was playing kitchen in the little old playhouse. The front porch and the top of the boat house were great for relaxing together and enjoying the view of the lake and mountains. The fire pit was perfect for watching the sunset and the stars with s’mores. We’re already making plans to come back!

Wonderful host. Great location. The cove is quiet and the view spectacular.
The charm of this 1928 cottage is amazing. The host are attentive and friendly. Feels like you are staying in a friends home.
The tea towel gift that was hand embroidered was a special touch.
I’d give this 6 stars if I could!
