Wonderful location, utterly peaceful. Beautiful decor, gardens and guest lounge bar. Hosts were friendly but gave us space and freedom to use all the facilities, including the honesty bar. Nothing was too much trouble. Donna was delightful.
Couldnt be bettered.

Great b&b, with easy access to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Lovely room with all the facilities required. Guest lounge and honesty bar was a really nice touch. Quiet & peaceful location.

Breakfast was lovely. Hosts were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Beautiful location, secluded but also easy to access other areas. Lovely little extra touches for dogs (towels, mat for bowl, treats and bin for dog waste).
Breakfast was quite early for us- but that's just personal preference!

Friendly host family, characterful property in a lovely setting. Enjoyed the walk down into Ilfracombe.
Very pleasant old property - so much more interesting to me when compared to a chain of motel style rooms.
My shower was clean and fine but relatively low water pressure

Lovely welcome . Water and towels for our two muddy dogs. Honesty board for the bar. Fire laid ready to light. Filling breakfast and excellent local knowledge. Great location with fantastic walk down the valley to ilfracombe.
Bathroom a little cold. Storage heaters on times required adjustments.

lovely location in beautiful countryside but within walking distance of Ilfracombe .The hotel was newly decorated,cosy room with great views of the surrounding countryside.Hosts were friendly and breakfasts were first class.

A tranquil setting, quiet and relaxing, still close enough to walk into Ilfracombe.
Staff were friendly and efficient, with a superb well presented breakfast to look forward to.
The access road from the A361 down to the B&B was a bit bumpy, but we saw that as part of its rustic charm

Breakfast and the lounge were fantastic. Food very good and well presented. The room was very comfortable and quiet and I slept 9 hours straight, location was easy to reach frow the town. I strogly suggest a stop if you are in the area...

The hotel was very comfortable and Donna could not do enough for us. Very dog friendly too. We had a large ensuite room which was delightful.
The entrance to the hotel was a long bumpy ride.

This is our 2nd stay and we could not rate this any higher. Donna is so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing and the lounge with the 'honesty' bar is fab when you have come back after a day out. Our dog loves it here too 😊🐶
We couldn't find fault with anything. Lovely place to stay and we will be returning in future years.

A beautiful country setting of a truly old property, surrounded by wildlife. Staff attitudes were lovely and breakfast was very god quality, with many choices. A welcoming attitude continued through our v brief one night stay - we could be back!

Nothing too much trouble for Donna or Paul. We were very stressed due to having one night only to decorate a wedding cake. Donna allocated us a separate room with a table and two chairs so we were undisturbed. They also helped my family with a few other dramas along the way. Could not have been more helpful and kind. Stunning people, stunning breakfast and stunning location. We can not recommend staying here enough...thank you Donna and Paul and I will be back...unlucky for you! 🤣

Dog friendly place with lots of outside space for run.
Well organised lounge for all quests access with snacks and drinks available.
