Situato in posizione centrale sulla collina che domina Kona Coast 7 miglia a nord del centro di Kailua Kona, questa è una delle numerose sistemazioni che offriamo. Una deliziosa camera con letto matrimoniale, divano letto, bagno completo, TV via cavo, piccolo lanai, frigorifero, forno a microonde, caffettiera, bollitore per acqua calda e Wifi gratuito, parcheggio in loco e attrezzatura da spiaggia. Sono disponibili servizi di lavanderia.
La nostra pensione è un'ottima base di partenza per esplorare la Big Island delle Hawaii. Cerchiamo di fornire tutto il necessario per renderlo la tua casa lontano da casa. Siamo a mezzo miglio dal pittoresco campo da golf delle Hawaii Makalei ea breve distanza in auto dalle splendide spiagge delle coste di Kona e Kohala. Waimea è a mezz'ora di macchina, Hilo a un'ora e venti minuti di distanza e Volcanoes National Park fa una gita di un giorno fantastico. Per chi arriva sui voli serali, siamo a soli 10 minuti dall'aeroporto, ma non abbiamo alcun rumore dell'aeroporto.
Svegliarsi la mattina al suono degli uccelli che cantano e fare colazione a vostro piacimento. Quindi si parte per la spiaggia con sedie, boogie board, refrigeratore e asciugamani forniti da noi!

We had a great experience at Bears Place Guest House :) the property was exactly as described and hosts always communicated in a timely manner

Pros:
- great space for what we needed
- microwave and fridge
- towels and beach equipment provided
- pull out couch perfect for my two year old
- nice garden
- laundry facilities for $5 per load
- everyone was very nice
- easy and convenient check-in
Cons:
- not the cleanest
- no thermostat so it’s either really cold or really hot and humid
- thin walls, you can hear people’s conversations and steps. We had a noise machine for my daughter and even then we would get woken up by all the noise
- no place to prepare meals so we just purchased things that could be made in the microwave
- dishes were dirty so we just bought disposables (they do have a sink available to wash dishes)
- room and sheets smelled funny but I think it was because of the humidity (we did a load of laundry and washed the sheets the day we got there)
Overall the place was good and we had a pleasant stay. Whoever cleans the room could do a much better job, everything was dusty and some places seemed just plain dirty (like the toilet). I disinfected all handles, table and light switches with Clorox wipes and they were really dirty. However, we didn’t see any bugs and felt much better after washing the sheets ourselves.
Would I stay here again? Yes.

This is a cute bedroom with a connected full bathroom. One queen sized bed and one small sofa that turns into a small bed that was perfect for our 2 year old daughter. The owner was nice enough to have it pre-set up just for us. There's a sliding glass door and deck so you can see lots of tropical trees/bushes, and the sounds of the frogs will put you to sleep at night. Lots of palm trees and papaya trees around the property let you know you're n hawaii. It's just slightly off the beaten path, but we enjoyed our stay and the privacy. It's only a 5-10 minute drive into the more touristy part of town.

Otherwise it's a nice place to stay outside of town. Vehicle needed for transportation. There's no public transportation in the area. Short 10 minute drive to the airport, which was nice.

We loved our stay at Suzanne’s vacation home. We were met and greeted. There is a nice treat in the room when you arrive. Our room (Ginger) was very clean and comfortable with table, chairs, refrigerator, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. The small porch looked into lush plant thickets. The other guests were interesting, polite and quiet at night. We found the location to be excellent for our explorations. The climate there is also cool – very nice for sleeping! We will stay here again, and recommend this vacation home.

We loved our stay at Suzanne’s vacation home. We were met and greeted. There is a nice treat in the room when you arrive. Our room (Ginger) was very clean and comfortable with table, chairs, refrigerator, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. The small porch looked into lush plant thickets.
