Hotel am See

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. There was a park nearby, making it easy to go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air.

It would have been helpful to receive clearer and more intuitive instructions about the parking facilities in advance. The hotel consists of several buildings, and it would be useful to know beforehand which building the room is located in. The TV was quite outdated and could use an upgrade. Outside noise was quite noticeable inside the room, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.

- easy to find, not far off the motorway - peaceful location - friendly, helpful staff- the receptionist offered to walk outside to show us where to park - exceptional, high standard of the accommodation in the annex/ lodge with modern, stylish furnishings. The room was very spacious, with a large modern bathroom. There was not a single thing we could fault or miss- every single detail was considered and everything felt super clean! - option to park in an underground garage (for a small fee of £8) and charge our e-bikes - fantastic outdoor restaurant/ beer garden with excellent food and drink, very reasonably priced too - superb breakfast

- Nothing! It is a beautiful hotel which looks even better in person than it does in the pictures!

The hotel and room are decent and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was quite decent as well.

Our shower drain was completely blocked and the bathroom immediately flooded during the first shower. The drain looked dirty and neglected when I opened it to check it. I had to rinse the shampoo from my hair in another room. Housekeeping put down some towels, but the water was still there when we left for breakfast and when we returned. The second guest could not shower, and we could not even brush our teeth. Apart from a quick “sorry,” there was no sincere apology, and little was done to reduce the inconvenience. For an overnight stop, you mainly need a good bed, a working shower and breakfast. The shower was missing from that experience.
