Hotel Alte Post

Abends darf man dann wieder parken.

Tolles Frühstück, zentrumsnah, freundliche Mitarbeiter

The hotel was in the middle of Wangen im Allgau, able to park outside to unload car and book in. The bed was very comfortable and the room very big. Breakfast was good

On the booking it said breakfast and all taxes were included but we were charged for breakfast and taxes added. The reception lady also wanted to charge us for the use of a garage which we didn't use or book. She didn't speak English so it was very difficult to explain to her. Luckily a dutch man was also checking out and explained the garage situation. I didn't realise we had paid extra for breakfast until after we left. The room was only accessible by many stairs which I found difficult. The room was extremely hot on the first night so had to ask for a fan for the second day. The hotel is in need of a little upgrading but some aspects are very nice. There was an over the bath shower with no bath mat and the bath was very slippery to stand in whilst having a shower. In the end I had to put a towel in the bath so I didn't slip over
