Far enough yet close enough to town

Phenomenal views from rooms, bar and restaurant.

Parking tight but staff willing and able to help.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were way more stylish than the photos and the Etna view was exceptional! We were particularly impressed with the beautifully tiled bathroom we had. We also used the restaurant after getting in late and we were very impressed with the value and quality. We also parked here which was very convenient, and not terrible value given parking in Taormina is difficult in general

It is on the hill so you can walk or rely on the shuttle which only goes once an hour. It wasn't a problem but something to be aware of.

View was spectacular and location of the hotel was excellent. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was good. Shuttle was efficient though i thought expensive for one trip down to the town and one trip back.

Air conditioning failed the first night for all of the hotel and was not fixed until the following day, it was a very uncomfortable night - staff were apologetic but no compensation for the discomfort. the sink in the bathroom leaked and soaked all of the towels. Dinner the first night was very disappointing. Mussels; small portion and many were not open, the white wine was served warm after the starter was served and the ice bucket arrived after the completion of the first course. Dinner second night was better all in all not really 4 star and could have been better
