Expensive house but came away slightly disappointed.

We had a great week! This property is amazing with all they best options for a family vacation

We fell in love the moment we arrived. This cute little beach cottage was exactly as we’d envisioned. Even with homes on either side, it felt very private. We loved having access to bikes, paddle boards and kayaks and used them daily. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed having access to Coppertone, the golf cart. What a fun way to see the island. We lived in the ocean and saw manatee and dolphin galore. Nightly strolls to Bean Point for sunset became our new normal. We even flew a kite! We didn’t have a chance to meet Rick and Lyn, but we did meet Dan and Goose (property managers) who could not have been nicer. Goose contacted us prior to arrival and made sure we had everything taken care of so we could relax and enjoy. We left our hearts on AMI. Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to bring our daschunds too. This made the trip even more special having them with us.

We booked this cottage a because we were a little late in the game settling vacation plans. I was a little nervous about the size for the three of us - hubby, myself and teenager. The living, dining and kitchen were large and open! The bedrooms were fine and the beds were very comfortable. We really found a great value in the bikes and kayaks and paddle boards at the house, we always spend a ton renting them. We also lucked out and were able to use a golf cart that belonged to the owners but is normally not part of the rental. The linens were clean and plentiful. I brought beach towels but there were so many at the house we didn’t need to. The bathroom is functional and I actually liked the open style shower for running in and washing off. The house doesn’t have central AC but the units work very well and we were comfortable the whole week. The House was also VERY clean. All in all it’s a cute house in a perfect beachfront location. Everything was taken care of by the owners. It’s no luxury home but it wasn’t gross and the furniture was clean and comfortable. You can’t beat the price for beachfront with all the aminities provided for a small group. We have a great time and we will definitely rent from these owners again.

Beach access just steps away. Small and simple place to enjoy everything Anna Maria has to offer. Enjoyed every sunrise and sunset. Will recommend to friends and family.

Really enjoyed staying at this cottage on the beach. Wonderful location right on small, almost private beach at very North end of the island. Appliances and carpeting a bit « worn » but in general things were clean and as advertised. Nice to have functional washer and dryer on site. Communication was good and repair person came by to check that things were good.

We had an absolutely fantastic time! We decided to take the trip at the last minute on a Friday evening, and the hosts were extremely nice and accommodating with everything, considering how late we arrived. We really appreciated that! The house had everything one would need for having an awesome time on Anna Maria, including bikes, paddle boards, and a kayak for two. It would be comfortable enough even for an extended stay! The beach was great and allowed for privacy while enjoying the sunrises. Overall we were really impressed with how much care and thought Rick and Lyn put into providing a great experience for their guests!

We had a little of both with our stay. Spent some time fishing on the pier, exploring on the bikes, walking on the beach and reading on the patio. Everything you need is here- we especially appreciated the bikes and comfortable beds. We would like to come back when it is a little warmer to try out the kayaks. The water was a little too cold for us this time around. Close enough to restaurants, shopping and fishing, private enough to feel like you are on your own little island.

Being ON the beach and waking up to have coffee and watch the sunrise was fantastic! Location on the beach was also super convenient for sister-in-law who brought the baby for a visit (it was so nice not having to truck all the baby amenities/accessories back and forth to the water). Cannot say enough wonderful things about this great find! Thank you!!!

Perfect for my fishing trip.

Accommodations exactly as described. Very rustic, I loved it 🌞 if you are bothered by room unit a/c, this may be too rustic for you. Owners are great, amenities were great. I will be back.

Great little cottage. No thrills, but had everything and then some of what we needed. Great managers! Looking for the beach life for a short time this is it. We will be going back.

I had the opportunity to take my Mom to the beach for a couple of days and this little cottage was perfect! Thank you Lyn and Rick for a great stay!

This little cottage was exactly what we were looking for. This was our first time visiting Anna Maria Island. We saw dolphins, manatees, stingrays, a sea turtle, and many birds everyday while we were there. It is a very kid friendly place. Our 9 year old caught and released the biggest starfish we had ever seen at low tide. The cottage is owned by a couple that owns/manages several properties on the island. Just ask for anything you think you will need and they will do their best to make sure it's there. The cottage is very comfortable and is on a street with much larger and expensive homes. We loved it and will definitely be returning to AMI. We chartered a fishing trip for half a day, went to the Aquarium in Sarasota but mostly spent our time enjoying the beautiful beach. The cottage is located on the beach about 30 steps to the water - the closest we have ever been!!

This is a great rental over all! Great location, great place, great host... everything was just perfect. We loved this place and would love to come back very soon! Everything was as promised and then some more. Look no further when looking for a great and affordable location right at the beach!
