Villa Pio is beautifully situated in a quiet rural like area. The grounds and rooms are immaculate. It was a nice peaceful break in the country from the louder busier village stays.
This isnt so much as what i didnt like but what i felt uncomfortable doing. It is not a negative comment but a suggestion. I didnt know where to leave used plates and coffee cups. It was OK to leave on the dining table after asking but I felt very awkward leaving my trash and used dinnerware out on the table and felt like i wasnt picking up after myself. Maybe a spot in the dining room with tray that is labeled where to leave used dinnerware will ease a woman's gilt of not picking up after herself.. lol.

The sheep right across the street, the location, the ambiance, the calm, the host and hostess were the nicest people ever, and interested in our adventure.
It was difficult to get a taxi service in the evening when we decided to dine out. Best note that after five pm, taxis become less available. Michael is the best driver available and the ten euro flat rate is excellent.

Nice quiet location surrounded by quiet countryside with easy parking. Very nice welcome from the owners.
The property is described as adults-only bed and breakfast experience - yet there is no breakfast? The description states: Tea/coffee maker in all rooms - this is only available in a lounge area. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom which meant after we've been travelling for 4 months and not needed previously we couldn't shower. The bedding, although clean, was damp.

"Tutto era perfetto. La stanza pulitissima, tranquilla e molto elegante. La signora Anne è molto gentile e ci ha dato tante indicazioni sui posti e i luoghi da visitare anche a due passi da casa."
