Amazing location, close to the beach and heaps of food and drinks nearby. Really affordable places too.
The mountain provides an amazing backdrop, with really soothing sounds of crickets and frogs at night.
Lots of animals coming around (but not inside), frogs, lizards, birds. Really nice blend of comfort and off the path.
Easy check in, great rates, easy transport to get wherever you need to go.
Clean toilet and shower with good water pressure.
Free instant coffee packs are delivered to your room every day, as are clean towels and extra toilet paper/drinking water.
Excellent experience!
A couple extra pillows on the bed would be nice.

The location is lovely. You're off the main road leading to the beach which meant it was quiet at night. You're secluded underneath a beautiful cliff with trees everywhere and a lovely patio to sit outside at in the evening - the scenery is really top notch.
Staff were really great too - very helpful with everything.
There's a shuttle service leaving the hotel every 2 hours, but you can sometimes pay for them to take you out-of-hours, if you're not able to get a Grab or Lineman taxi.
Having said that, it's only a 15 minute walk to the beach so you're never really constricted.
Please use bacon instead of ham for the breakfast. 😄

so friendly and kind staff i never met, hotel is near big cliff, so wonderful view outside and feeling like you stay in the jungle, also free pickup to and from hotel to the beach which was very comfortable

They have individual cottages,surrounded by lust green gardens.

Room was spacious, airconditioned and had everything we required.
Nothing beats the view! The amazing cliff faces are spectacular to behold. Photos don't do it any justice.
The friendly staff were always willing to go the extra mile. Organised a breakfast pack on our early excursion days and served breakfast a bit earlier when we needed to catch the ferry.

If you search a hidden paradise in ao nang, you must go there. The staff is friendly and you feel like at home. Everything was great I recommend 200%

-if you take your room keys with you the power in the room gets off and so the ac will not work.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and the pool a great place for the kids. The grounds are quiet, away from the busy main road, with a lot of vegetation, with cliffs just in the background. We did not take the breakfast option but the dining area is a very relaxing spot. They offer free transport to the beach about every other hour (and return) during the day and evening. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance. More pricy than what we usually look for but it was good value. Would definitely book here again.

Huge bungalows, free shuttle service to beach. Nice little pool. Close to the ‘main drag’ and dozens of great little restaurants, but set in a quiet tropical garden setting with fabulous cliff backdrop. Staff made every effort to make stay great. Ao Nang a short long tail boat hop away from Railay beach which has lovely restaurant and bar scene.
Villa 110 had v noisy ac and doors/decking was adjacent to the pool. On arrival there was zero privacy if curtains open. Staff moved dozen or more tall potted shrubs to provide the screening. It made world of difference. 👍 We had good earplugs which was lucky as the ac was knackered and noisy. Get breakfast elsewhere - 0900 longtail to Railay!

This property was a tiny bit dated, wardrobe needed cleaning so we didn't use it. Location was lovely with just nice distance walk to town.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vipa Tropical. The units were great and clean, the garden and mountain clifts spectacular! Thank you Gorya (manager) for excellent services. We highly recommend Vipa Tropical and will come again.

I loved the location .. just a ten minute walk from the main beach, and the walk is on the Main Street with a lot to see and enjoy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free, private shutlle bus 6 times a day to and from Ao Nang beach. Beautiful, peaceful tropical garden. Perfect, clean, high standard bungalow.
Nothing at all. (just for me the 25 minute walk to the beach and city centre. Usually not a problem, but I had a crooked knee and could not walk that far. Glad I could use the free shuttle bus)

We spent 4 nights and one more extra- that much we loved to place and it's manger. Highly recommended, clean, pretty, great service and amazing resturant 2 minutes walk - Curry Palace, you don't want to miss it. If you are don't like spicy ask "20% chilly". The place is very peaceful, a bit aside from the town noise. The hotel supply free taxi many times during the day. Koya who takes care of things in the hotel is extremley kind and helping. Giving excellent tips what to do and helps a lot in making reservation to different trips. the pool is great also for relax.

Stunning setting nestled at the foot of the limestone cliff and the staff were super friendly and helpful. breakfast was included and was very nice with different choices. The free shuttle available to the beach (and back) was fab - all in all a really good place to stay in Ao Nang and I would definitely stay there again! thank you for making us so welcome 🙏

Lovely well kept resort. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to look after you. The room was really clean and very comfortable, and the air con was quiet. There is a shuttle to and from town, however it is very easy to walk. The setting is stunning with well kept gardens and a nice pool. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Only toiletries provided was toilet paper shampoo and soap.

Only towels provided, no hand towels.
Fresh towels were damp.
The fridge had not been cleaned for a while.
No hand washing facility at toilets behind breakfast hut.
Sheets were yellow.

Very friendly staff. Amazing view on the mountain and a beautiful garden and small but wonderful pool and also cause it is also a small resort we were mostly the only ones at the pool. We liked the resort very much.
Our 1.5 years daughter could unlock the door of the accommodation from inside, so that one need to pay attention that she not run alone outside and a small kids corner would be great (like a swing). But this are minor points, overall the resort was amazing

The staff were incredibly helpful with all our needs. It is a very beautiful setting and feels quite magical. It was nice to not be in the busy part of town but everything was a sort walk or quick shuttle ride to the busy part of town. There are a few restaurants and a lovely spa just outside the resort. All my family members would like to return.
The only thing that wasn't perfect was i could hear my neighbors moving around one night but i don't think they were the quite type.
