Beautiful place with a lovely garden, spacious rooms and nice furnishings. Our hostess Shakira was incredible in communicating with us and helped arrange one room to be beautifully decorated (and purchase flowers/ prosecco) for my parents anniversary- thank you so much Shakria!! There was water, coffee and tea facilities and a strong flow of hot water in the showers. The rooms had wardrobes and though we didn’t use it there was also a TV in the living room. Location is only a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Hotel- excellent location.
The beds were on the harder side than most and in the “kids bedroom” one large blanket was provided instead of a duvet. The temperature drops a fair amount at night and though there was an electric fireplace, it wasn’t working. These are quite minor issues however, in general we loved our stay, thank you for having us!

We had like time travelling experience back to Scherlok Holmes times, where time was just standing still and Scherlock has left the room. Very authentic experience and would recommend to all old England lovers.

The room was clean, but the service was disappointing. We paid for breakfast, yet none was provided. We informed them that we needed to leave 30 minutes early, but they did not bother to pack a takeaway breakfast or offer a refund. Paying for something and receiving nothing in return is unacceptable. Cleanliness alone does not make up for poor service and lack of consideration for guests
