Everything! This villa was beautifully presented and surprisingly spacious. I believe it was more stunning then the pictures portray. The garden courtyard entrance was maintained to perfection ensuring a calm atmosphere on entry and exit, whilst the villa itself was relaxing and felt luxurious yet homely. The staff were beyond amazing with special mention to Yumas (who you would have already read about in previous reviews). The staff were welcoming, accommodating and always there to offer help. I became quite ill here and Yumas recommended a medical team who promptly arrived and assisted. I even awoke to flowers and a get well card the next day. Yumas highlighted her passion for culture and tradition that she was more than willing to share with my family. She never rushed and took time to teach us about Balinese traditions such as offerings and family life and dynamics. Yumas is a true asset to Motama and Balinese tourism, emphasising a need for balance with tourism, culture and the Balinese people.

We had a wonderful stay at Motama Villa. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and they made arranging transportation so easy. Every single person we met was friendly and quick to help with any request. Breakfast was outstanding each morning. Our rooms were comfortable, spotless, and had great air conditioning, which we really appreciated after long days out. The location is excellent too. You can take their shuttle into central Ubud, or with the traffic, it's often just as quick to walk to the palace or the Monkey Forest. I'm so thankful to the whole team for making our time in Ubud so special. We would happily stay here again!

Great hospitality and experience, fantastic comfort and facilities, loved the pool and the breezy open layout. My family looked forward to the exotic breakfast experience.

The location is a bit tricky and far from city centre. However, it’s well compensated with prompt and complimentary shuttle service

The location is great. Central ubud. Facilities were adequate and staff very helpful. Breakfast was decent.

Just little things like tea wasn’t restocked. Towels weren’t changed automatically and a few things were broken. Also bedrooms were on different floors and the pool wasn’t very clean.
