SOUNDFRONT Rodanthe- Cross of Honor Way. 2nd WIND è l'unica casa a Mirlo Beach con la sua spiaggia privata di fronte al suono del mare, ideale per guadi per bambini ed esplorare in sicurezza senza la preoccupazione di grandi onde. Rilassati, ricaricati e ringiovaniti in questa casa spaziosa e curata con cura, splendidamente paesaggistico, con pareti in legno di pino ovunque. Lasciati incantare dai meravigliosi tramonti sul suono dei ponti avvolgenti del secondo e del terzo livello, e cattura la vista sull'oceano dalla veranda. La vasca idromassaggio al secondo piano ti metterà in modalità vacanza in pochissimo tempo. Le rastrelliere per tavole da windsurf e un ampio sentiero sabbioso per il suono rendono facili escursioni alla spiaggia sabbiosa, a pochi passi dalla porta di servizio. L'ingresso a secco ti porta nell'ingresso dove trovi un comodo frigorifero per un facile accesso agli snack e alle bevande sulla spiaggia. Salite al secondo livello della casa dove potrete scegliere tra tre camere da letto ciascuna con cursori per il ponte del soundfront - una camera da letto matrimoniale con bagno privato e una camera da letto matrimoniale che condivide un bagno con una camera con due letti singoli. Una sala da bagno e un'altra camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale completano il secondo livello. Dalla grande sala da pranzo del terzo livello e grande sala con soffitti a cattedrale, godere di arredi confortevoli e incredibili viste del suono. Una stanza di polvere è anche a questo livello. The pictures of this property are very misleading. The windows leak badly in the rain so there were large puddles on the carpet when we got a storm. The stove fan doesn’t work at all and there is no vent to the outside so every time we cooked, smoke filled the house and the smoke detectors never went off (a violation of fire code policy). There are grease stains on the cabinets above the stove. The lights in the main living room were unfinished, exposed and empty. Some of the chandelier lights were burned out. A chair was held together with packing tape. The screens were torn or loose. A screen door flew off in the wind. The curtain rods were bent. The closet door in one bedroom was off its hinges and placed off to the side. A container of linens was on the front porch all week. There were no pillows on one bed. The deck is coming apart in places and there is green mold everywhere. The ceiling is chipped and falling down in the basement. The downstairs door is missing half of its glass. The ice maker didn't work 5 of the 7 days we were there. And the whole house sways in the wind, which scared the kids. I took photos and videos of everything to document the deficiencies.
Also, in order to have linens and towels, we had to pay an extra $200. Even the cheapest hotel room provides linens and towels.
Overall this house is nothing like it was represented in the photos except for the view and location. Otherwise it was a dump and I would never recommend anyone stay there, especially for the price we paid, which was WAY too high.

The property was very nice and generally well equipped. They could use better pots and pans (especially pans). It was a bit of an inconvenience to have to bring our own sheets and towels. However, the location was great and we enjoyed the large open space on the top floor with its tremendous views.
