The assortment looks exactly as in the pictures. It is located in a complex that has a series of pools, an excellent lunch/dinner restaurant, a breakfast place, a gym, and a beautiful beach with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas provided free of charge. All communications prior and during our stay were very useful and honest. The adjustment is gorgeous and comfortable. We also lived there city of Playa del Carmen. We would happily come back

I can't say enough good things about this property. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, well stocked with everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, drinks etc.
The property is secured and safe. Infact, in front of our condo there was a bike standing in a parking stall for 6 days, not locked.
The property itself is beautiful. Best beach around. No rocks or seaweed, just beautiful white sand. Pool is huge with lots of areas for children. 2 restaurants on the property with delicious food options. Its quiet with many areas with different seating options like lounge chairs, shady covered areas, hamacks etc.
What made the best impressions on us here was the property manager Luis. We had to contact him on a couple of occasions for minor things like new batteries for remote and water bottle replacement. Everytime his response was within minutes and delivery set up quickly. I can't praise him enough. He even went out of his way to help me with an item i forgot in the unit after checkout. Best experience ever. Thank you.

Condo is just as shown, very spacious, loved the decor. Beds were comfortable. The resort was pristine, the pools are large with enough loungers, beach was clean. The little beach club at the end of the beach was nice to have, to have a change of scenery. The one downside, it was very hard to communicate with the restaurant staff, their English is minimal, and we seemed to be looked over and waited a long time for food and drinks. Ordering taxis was a breeze to get into town. We all enjoyed our time spent, and would stay again.

The grounds at the property were very well maintained and the unit was beautiful. Louis greeted us at the entrance and made sure we had everything we needed all week.
The beach was lovely! We were also able to walk to 5th Avenue which was enjoyable.

Our family of three stayed at this condominium for about one week. The condominium and the property are beautiful, clean and safe. All the amenities are available. The contact process with the property owners and manager was very smooth and prompt. Will totally stay here again if we were to revisit.

We love Mareazul and this condo was great. The property manager (Luis) was personable and response.
When the water dispenser broke the owners worked quickly to have a new one ordered next day.
The only challenge was the washer/dryer combo. Washed clothes well, but no matter how long you let it dry for it just couldn’t. Had to hang dry everything which we eventually got the hang of.
So 4.5/5 which we’ll round up to 5. Property was great, beach was nice when the sargassum wasn’t bad. We’d certainly go back.

Situated in a safe and gated community just north of Playa Del Carmen. Short walk to a private beach safe for swimming and great beach walks. Verna and Rich are great hosts with great restaurant suggestions. If you want a comfortable beach vacation, space for some quiet time, ans great access to restaurants and activities near Playa Del Carmen this is a great choice. Thanks!

We stayed for 16 days. The property is lovely, as pictured. The pools are wonderful. Having access to a restaurant on the property is great also. We did experience a water heater leak while there and management at the property and the owner were very responsive and had it repaired within a couple of hours. If we find ourselves in Playa again, we will definitely stay here.
If you do visit, I encourage you to have a car and drive around to experience the city and people, and look for "local" restaurants, which are considerably less experience and a more authentic experience. The people here are very friendly and considerate. It's worth the effort.

What a great place !
Our family had an amazing time at this apartment in Playa del Carmen. Great service, fully equipped, the best location I can think of. Luis was great and kind as a host. The pool is something else … it’s like 300 yards long. Beautiful beach and great food. I can’t ask for more.

Outstanding!
This stay was absolutely perfect. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the deck during the day and evening and then kicking back on the very comfortable couch at night. We slept like babies and were completely relaxed the whole time. The resort itself is beautiful with the landscaping and pools. There are attendants on the beach so no need to go down and save a place in the morning. You just tell them where you want to be and they get lounges and umbrellas out for you.
We liked the pool bar but didn't care for the food at the restaurant.
Verna and Rich were great. They answered every question we had throughout our stay and sent us a welcome packet ahead of time with everything you need to know.
We stayed here for 7 nights and then went onto Cabo but we both agreed we could've skipped Cabo and easily stayed another week!

We felt right at home in this very well equipped, comfortable condo. It is beautifully decorated and has a great location on the property as it provides a wonderful view of the gorgeous grounds off the huge deck. This is a very well maintained, quiet and secure complex. The beach is one of the best we have seen in the PDC area, great for swimming and walking. The free beach chairs and umbrellas are a huge bonus. The pool is simply stunning. There are 2 very good restaurants on site . Highly recommend the tempura shrimp and fish tacos! We were here for a month and did a lot of our own cooking and found all appliances in great working order and the kitchen well appointed. We had guests stay with us for 1 week and they were very comfortable in the large 2nd bedroom with private bath. It was also great to have a washing machine. The hosts, Verna and Rich were very easy to communicate with and provided a lot of helpful information. The location is a cab ride to PDC, away from the noise. This will be the first choice of accommodation for us on any future visit to this area and we very highly recommend it.

Beautiful and relaxing
Our family of four had an amazing time just before Christmas at this lovely property. Verna and Rich were available for questions about the area, and the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. The location has easy access (with a car) to beautiful places along the Mayan Riviera and the people were kind and helpful. We felt safe and comfortable even during covid because nearly everyone wore masks and the sites were very clean. Highly recommend Mexico and this property for families, for either hanging at the beach and pool (which are both gorgeous) or visiting water parks, cenotes, and visiting Playa del Carmen and Tulum. And delicious food is everywhere!

Great property, nice quiet location
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo, it was spacious and well equipped. We spent all of our time on the large patio enjoying the beautiful garden views. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes through the gardens. The beach was gorgeous and good for walking in either direction. The beach attendant was there to set up chairs and an umbrella for you. It was Christmas week so a bit busier than usual but we could always get loungers as long as we were down before 11. The biggest thing for us was communication, we had constant check ins from Verna and Rich. While on property, Luis could not have been more helpful and always available. There is a beach grill on property and the food was excellent, from wings to nachos to steaks, they had a wide variety and reasonable prices. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with a gorgeous beach on a quieter area, this is the place for you! We will be back.

This was an absolutely amazing vacation. The trip from the airport was great because we rented a private shuttle to transport us to the property where we were met by an amazing Concierge Luis Ruiz. His service was five star all the way. Luis welcomed us upon arrival settled us in and was only a phone call away whenever we needed him. This property was nothing short of amazing. The pictures are great but to see is to believe it. We absolutely loved our place and the amenities. The grounds were beautiful. The pool is fabulous and the poolside restaurant has great food and great drinks.Thanks to our great Concierge Luis and staff, our breathe taking accommodations, and wonderful surroundings we will go and record saying you will not regret booking this property. This was our first time in Playa del Carmen we have fallen in love and will definitely return again.

My family and I had originally planned on staying at a resort for my 40th bday but received the unfortunate news two weeks prior to our departure that the grand opening of the resort had been delayed. Thankfully I was able to book our stay here and was pleasantly surprised at the resort style pool and the restaurant. The sargasso situation is unfortunate but we were too busy to really let it negatively impact our vacation. We went to XelHa, the Tulum ruins, and spent some relaxing days by the pool. The communication and overall service was great. I appreciated everyone being so engaged, respectful, and overall available.

Very Relaxing With a Beautiful View!
Loved staying at the condo. Very clean and quiet. The pool area and bar was really nice. Great security! Walking distance to 5th avenue with all the shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating out on the great deck. Fernando (property manager) was great with anything we asked. The cleaning lady did an excellent job each time she cleaned. I would stay there again!

Absolutely Perfect!
This was our second time staying here, and it was amazing. Super clean condo with helpful staff. Pool and beach never busy, but still well staffed and very clean. We had our groceries and drinks delivered, so they were waiting for us when we arrived, which was so nice. The gym is really clean, and the tennis coutrs are nice to use at night under the lights. We can't wait to stay here again!

Exceeded our Expectations!
The property is described accurately. From the moment we arrived the team was there to assist us. The condominium was very clean, adequately supplied for all our needs. The entire property and beaches were above our expectations! And most importantly, the owner sent us a personal message during these trying times regarding our stay that was so kind. Perfect Paradise
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had a wonderful experience. The property itself it BEAUTIFUL! The pool and beach are only a few steps away. Unfortunately the pool food area was closed but once it opens it will be perfect! Instead to took our own snacks and drinks to the pool with no fuss. We basically had the pool to ourselves each visit, it was much better than the craziness of the hotels. We spend most of our days out on adventures but it felt so nice to come back to a clean and comfortable “home” which is what we called it for the week (: The property manager was awesome she was quick to reply with any questions we had and was very friendly. The security/staff at the gate were always friendly and made us feel welcome and safe. Verna , the owner was very responsive with any of our questions and also had great recommendations. We also rented a car that we were able to park directly in front of the building. I cannot wait to visit again.

excellent condo as described and fabulous swimming pool complex
We stayed for 1 week at his condo during may. The host is excellent . Verna responded to all our queries rapidly. Instructions for the property were clear and all the appliances worked very well. A nice touch was the welcome snacks and soda on the day of arrival. The property is well maintained very good security. The beacj is walking 3-5 mins from the property. The balcony has a jacuzzi and the swimming pool complex is the best I have seen todate and probably the best in the playadel carmen area. We did visit some other local 5 star properties and their gardens and pools were nothing compared to this complex. The complex was sparsely populated when we went and had the pool complex to ourselves on most days. In addition the beach is very private and no teeming crowds, no jostle for the sun beds. Sunbeds are included in the hire of the propertyand drinks are served on the beach by the snack bar and all drinks are reasonably priced. The pool complex has several outdoor Jacuzzi's and plunge pools and hammocks to lounge around as well as well organised sun loungers. The flat is second floor well located not on the beach but has partial views of the sea from the property, Condo is very wellequipped with quality appliances and Netflix included along with DVD player and loungers in the balcony. Even dish washer tablets and washing machine tablets were provided for. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and there are blackout blinds in the bedroom which do the job very well. The complex itself has various other facilities including a small supermarket, gym, sauna and steam room. We could order takeaway from local restaurants and the reception staff was very helpful in getting cabs etc. All in all a great holiday rental well worth the price.

Absolutely Gorgeous!
We stayed here for a week at the end of March 2019, and had a wonderful time. The condo is very clean and modern. The pool is huge, clean, and not crowded. The beach is amazing! We enjoyed playing tennis at night under the lights. We sent our grocery list ahead of our stay, and the kitchen was fully stocked with our requested food and drinks when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again next year!

Relaxing in Playa del Carmen
We had a wonderful stay at Mareazul, Sol Danzante over the winter break. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids. There is an extra futon/roll-away we used for our youngest and she slept comfortably. This is a family-friendly property that is well maintained. The pool(s) are huge and the beach is steps from the pool. There is a casual restaurant to order food or drinks while poolside. The condo is clean and well equipped. It has a large outdoor balcony we used all week. I would recommend a car while you stay here. It's close to all the restaurants and shops in Playa del Carmen and a short drive to Puerto Morales to the north or Tulum to the south. Verna was very helpful in recommending restaurants to try and things to do. We had a great time and would definitely stay at Sol Danzante again!

Amazing place for a family vacation
Everything was as good as or better than we had hoped when we read the description and looked at the pictures of this property. It was very clean and we were attentively taken care of by the owner and people on site, adddressing any queries we had more or less immediately. We went needing a place to kick back and relax and we could not have chosen better.

Wonderful Place with AMAZING Pool
The condo is beautiful. It is wonderfully appointed with everything you could need. The decor is perfect and feels very cool, comfy, etc. Plenty of towels, dishes, soaps, beach toys, iron, washer/dryer, etc...perfect for families. The AC is wonderful as this is important to me when traveling to Mexico in August (hot). The only thing that is needed is a new hair dryer as that one barely blew any air out. Also, it would be nice to have a BBQ or grill but that might not be allowed in the complex or it is too risky for a rental. So in all the condo is perfect and the Netflix option of the TV was great for nights when our daughter had to go to bed at 8:00.
We did have one issue while there (some loud construction which was no fault of the owner) but Verna was all over it and managed (with her building manager Fernando, who is also great) to have it shutdown while we were in the apartment! It was pretty amazing as I did not see that happening. Verna is very quick to answer any questions (restaurants, things to do, etc.). It is like she is there. That was great.
So the POOL!! It is unreal. The pictures don't do it justice. It is like a quarter mile long with islands, layout pads, bridges, steps...it is crazy and very clean. When were there is it was the end of the season so super quiet. Tons of chairs and cool "tents" to layout on. We do wish the snack place was open more but understand it was the end of the season so really can't complain. Lots of security walking around so we always felt safe. Cameras too. The grounds are also beautiful with lots of pretty plants and statues. Loved all of the iguanas!
Only complaint (which has really nothing to do with the condo) was the beach. It was (at this time of the year) unswimmable. There was a lot of seaweed which made it impossible to enter. My suggestion is have Pure Mareazul clear out the seaweed each day as we have seen other resorts do. Maybe it was the time of the year but we didn't go to the beach. Not I am a pool person so not a big deal to me but my husband does like the beach so it was disappointing for me. That is why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5.
Close to town. Get a car and park in the new "mall" parking structure (only 30 pesos) and then easy walk down 5th Avenue. We ate dinner there a few nights and ate at home as well. This is a great place for families or large groups. Quiet but lots of space for both the condo and the complex. We would definitely go again

Another great holiday at Mareazul
Our second time at this condo ... it was absolutely fabulous. We have 4 kids (13,11,10,9).. The condo is spacious , bright , spotless & has everything you would need . The kids spent hours in the HUGE pool , the beach was just steps away & always kept beautifully ... Staff at the complex were friendly & efficient. It’s only a 10 min drive to the busy 5th ave or $10 taxi ride .. many thanks to Fernando

Great place to stay in Playa del Carmen!!!
Love this place! I stay here about once a year and have always found it to be beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. I can work for a few hours on the computer while enjoying the breeze and view on the balcony and then spend time at the pool and beach. I usually travel with my mother who is 88 and this has become her favorite beach house. She enjoys the lounges on the balcony and napping on the couch while reading or watching Netflix. Also, we are close enough for her to walk to the beach. We have rented a car during some trips but this time we just took taxis. I found an online delivery service that we used twice during our stay to order food from favorite restaurants. The staff is always accommodating and everyone goes out of their way to make sure that we have all that we need. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment has everything that I could possibly need including an orange squeezer and a French press.

Property was clean and well-cared for and the grounds were gorgeous
We enjoyed our stay at Mareazul , the staff and property management were very helpful and friendly. The condo was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Our view of pool and ocean breathtaking. Only wished the pool snack bar was open for food and drink.

WARNING! First impression: looks okay. But it is: old, cheap and very run down! DO NOT BOOK HERE
We had rented the apartment for 2 months and can only warn everybody! These 2 months were the most unpleasant time we ever spent while travelling the world. Unfortunately this web-site does not low us to share our real experience with this apartment.
Lounge very old/worn-out/sunken cushions/causing major back issues, had to see doctors
Shower shows traces of mildew
Towels often worn out and not clean
Bed linen 100% synthetic (recommended be washed cold, blood stains), cheap material, pillow cases often damaged
Glasses very old and ‘blind’, damaged
Plates 4 large porcelain plates, rest plastic
Luxury accommodation? NO!
TV via Wi-Fi, too slow to allow watching program! Had asked Verna if there were Sports channel and CNN, NEVER received any reply, these channels were NOT there. Master Bedroom TV not functional at all
All 3 beds extremely uncomfortable, mattress have thick plastic covers.
1. cleaning day - lady didn't replace towels & bedclothes. Had to insisted. Then I saw, plastic mattress cover had very big old blood stains. So disgusting! Cleaning lady wanted to put the new linen on. Again, I had to insist ..... and so on!
Another day cleaning lady was wearing totally filthy, badly damaged uniform. Just disgusting!
Property Manager of owner: First nice, promised at lot but never took any actions. Often did NOT replay to messages. Most shocking was that he went into the apartment while we were away, which he knew. He NEVER had permission to go into the apartment on his own. This was an unlawful entry, he violated our privacy. We know it was him, friends saw him.
Electricity Bill: Had to pay bill on top. Checking internet before we agreed showed in high price areas of Playa Del Carmen to be prepared. Manager asked us to pay an exorbitant amount. We were totally shocked! Had not once used AC, had no TV to watch, were sitting in the dark most evenings on the balcony. He had not taken the meter reading when we arrived. He didn't show us any invoices, became extremely rude, was not prepared to talk to us at all, threatened to call police and inform emigration office. He told us the owner had given him the strict order to claim the money, that it was his job to get the money.
It’s not the money. It’s how we were treated, that we were not informed about the shocking amount that we had to expect to pay. And everybody told us this was by far too much.

Fresh , Clean , Spacious
What a beautiful property . The apartment was beautiful , so clean & had everything... the pool and beach area was just perfect for our group of 2 adults & 4 kids. ( 13 -9) They literally played all day and never bored of it .. we often popped down to the nearby beach club for either breakfast or a snack .. Kids loved their daiquiris ..
It’s only 10 mins by car from playa .. we took a trip
most nights into the town & always found parking without a struggle .
Fernando was great , even though we had no issues he responded immediately to any of our questions .
We will for sure be back .

"The greatest condo ever"
I traveled here with my parents, sister and nephew and the condo was a great fit. Super spacious! The luxury details, balcony and security staff made our stay a very pleasant and secure one. We cooked in, took food to the private beach area, and some days we reserved lounge chairs and ordered food from the beach club. There are many options, after the beach we would enjoy some time in the beautiful pools. There is a mini market by reception where you can find almost anything you need (closes at 9pm). I sent over a grocery list before traveling out there and they had everything setup upon arriving from our late flight. They kept the grocery receipt for us and included gratuity. Super easy and perfect since we just wanted to relax in the gorgeous condo our first night. This location is perfect for families looking for peace and quiet. On our last day we took a cab ride downtown (which was about ten minutes) and walked around and did some shopping. We did one excursion, we chose Xcaret. Life changing, amazing! Stay for the show at 7pm, or don't go at all! Yes, the show is that AMAZING!!! Prepare for a long but worthwhile day of swimming in the cenotes and enjoying a lunch buffet of delicious seafood included in the entrance ticket. The only problem we had is that we could not stay any longer. My nephew described it as "The greatest condo ever". Which means a lot being that he could not stop talking about our last year's NYC experience, which he has now forgotten about :) We love Mexico and will return and recommend this to our friends and fam!!

Relaxing, quiet and comfortable.
We stayed for 10 days in April with 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 9). The apartment was just as advertised. Very comfortable and well equipped. The complex was exactly what we hoped for. Not too busy, so there was always space and loungers available at the pool or beach and away from the crowds and noise of playa del Carmen. It was only 10 mins in the car to the centre of playa del Carmen for shopping. Easy access to the main highway for all the attractions. Overall, it was just what we hoped for and we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect vacation spot (especially if you have kids)
We had an amazing stay here. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and it was perfect. First the apartment: Very clean and modern. A huge master bedroom and bathroom with king size bed. Bigger than my whole apt in Brooklyn! There was a safe in the master closet which was great to have. The second bedroom was on the other end of the apartment which was great as it gave each of us our own space. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. Loved the terrace.. we spent most of our time there when home. The only complaint about the apartment would be there is no bathtub which is preferred for kids but otherwise everything was amazing. Loved having the bottle water available. Great wifi speed. Verna was a pleasure to deal with and answered all questions within the hour each time. She had amazing restaurant recommendations and was so welcoming it felt like we were at home. Next are the grounds: this property is stunning. Beautiful landscaping with fountains and hammocks. The star of the show is the pool area though. This was the most impressive (in size and setup) pool I have ever seen. The kids were in heaven. Plus the fact that there is only about 40% of apartments that are occupied, it means you almost have the pools to yourself. Amazing. A few steps further was the beach. Very nice and not too crowded. Great to have both options. The compound is 10-15min from center of Playa which was perfect for us. Gave us the peace and quiet but proximity to downtown. Best of both worlds. We will definitely come stay here again if we ever come back to Playa del Carmen. A wonderful find!
