Spent four nights in this lovely cabin, but a lot of our time was spent exploring the beautiful state of Alaska. The town of Talkeetna is close by and offers great local/small business shopping and dining. We also did a Chulitna River Cruise with Mahay, which was a great time and more beautiful views. Did a little fishing on Christiansen Lake, which was about five minutes away, and saw lots of families swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. This cabin in Talkeetna was perfect for our family and Whitney was easy to work with and very gracious!

The cabin was very nice and was just as described in the listing. It would be a great place at a different time of year, but in mid June it is impossible to go outside because of the mosquitoes. you are not even able to get into your car without being swarmed and a half dozen little critters following you in.

We had a great one night stay in the cabin and loved it! Whitney was a great host, checked in on us, and took the time to explain the mountains and peaks we were seeing off the porch. The queen bedroom and the living spaces have beautiful views of the Alaskan Range and we got lucky to see Denali.. the downside Roberge beautiful views on a sunny day was the heat radiating through the picture windows. Fans helped, but I can imagine it getting hot later in the summer.. definitely keep the blinds drawn when not admiring the view! The one shower was sufficient for the five of us, but the pressure was fairly weak making it tricky to wash long hair! It’s an adventurous drive up to the cabin, but completely worth it and still only ten minutes from town.. we would absolutely rent again 😊

These cabins are super clean. The sheets smell great and everything is tidy. This is a great destination for views and cleanliness. We love it here!

Quaint cabin with beautiful views.

This cabin is very well located, only a few minutes from Talkeetna but also with incredible views (even though we still couldn't see Denali due to the weather, the view was still amazing and the stars were incredible at night). The only suggestion I have for those renting is to be aware that the cooking ability is limited. I did read in the description that there is a microwave, grill, and two burners. However, there was a note in the kitchen not to cook anything with a smell (onion, garlic, peppers, etc) or have a cleaning fine. I would have appreciated that to have been in the description as we did plan to cook tacos that night - Talkeetna does not have a lot of dining options so we were looking forward to being cozy in the cabin for one of our dinners. Otherwise though, the cabin was perfect for our stay and I would go again (just prepare my menu/expectations differently is all).

The million dollar view is priceless and offsets the compactness and the remoteness of the cottage. The place is very clean too.

Such a beautiful property. Awesome for those who are looking for a quiet getaway in the nature. Quaint cabin and had all the necessities.

The cabin was a good size for us (there were 5 in my party); we were all comfortable. The deck is amazing; we had a lovely time sipping wine and chatting out there. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate and we did not see Denali. Less than 10 min to downtown Talkeetna. Whitney was the most responsive host I have ever had.

The home was ready for us and was clean and just as advertised. Then, this morning, Denali showed up and the view from the back deck was almost a spiritual experience!! Thank you for sharing your home and Denali view with others

The property is cozy with a deck overlooking the Mountain Range with Denali off to the far right. Absolutely beautiful views. We even had a Moose come through.

Spent one night. For info on what kitchen has: Only appliances are toaster oven, coffee maker and toaster, small fridge. Very small grill on deck. It was rainy so weren't able to enjoy the view from the deck.
