OCEANFRONT Waves - Sea Isle Hills Dr. Quando ti meriti veramente una vacanza isolata, considera questo tuo HATTERAS ESCAPE. I tuoi problemi si sentiranno a miglia di distanza con un tuffo nella piscina privata blu, un bagno nella vicina vasca idromassaggio e una bevanda preferita presso l'ampio bar Tiki a bordo piscina. Ci sono molti modi per rimanere intrattenuti nella sala giochi al piano terra con tavolo da biliardo, TV / VCR / DVD e wet bar con frigorifero full-size e macchina per il ghiaccio. Anche a questo livello è un comodo bagno di servizio e due camere da letto, una con 2 letti a castello e una con 2 letti singoli, che condividono un bagno completo. Il comodo ascensore che accede ai primi 3 livelli della casa ti porterà al secondo livello dove troverai altre quattro camere da letto ben arredate e spaziose. Due di queste camere da letto sono re padroni di fronte all'oceano, e c'è anche una camera da letto matrimoniale con un bagno semi-privato e una camera da letto matrimoniale. Vai al terzo livello e fuggi nella grande sala. La cucina ben attrezzata rende la cucina un gioco da ragazzi con 2 lavastoviglie, scaldavivande, posti a sedere supplementari, e nelle vicinanze c'è un angolo bar. La sala da pranzo offre molto spazio per i gomiti e la zona giorno è il luogo perfetto per allontanarsi di fronte al sistema home theater. Anche a questo livello è una camera matrimoniale padronale con vasca idromassaggio. Per un rifugio idilliaco, prendi un'alba o un tramonto da uno dei ponti sul sole o sul fronte del sole. Naturalmente, il modo migliore per evadere è la torre privata con la suite padronale con divano letto, salotto, terrazza privata e bagno con doccia e vasca idromassaggio. Che cosa stai aspettando? We had a wonderful vacation with our family! The house was perfect for everyone to be together! We had the pool heater go out once but I put in a call to management and left message and within an hr pool guy was there fixing it! Only problem I had was during the period from reservation to getting there. I believe they need to redo their website. Every time I tried to make a payment I had to call because site wouldn’t let me make it and felt like I was putting them out.

This house had everything needed for an extended family of 12. Plenty of space for everyone. While the pool looked like it could use a good scrubbing, it was great to have at the house, as was the hot tub and the pool table. A few minor issues and wear & tear can be expected at rental houses, and a few things that needed attention were handled by maintenance. House was very clean when we got there and the pictures are accurate. I was a little concerned after reading some of the more negative reviews, but overall the house met and exceeded our expectations. There is no “great room” but you can tell that from the pictures. And there was still plenty of space. I do wish the ocean view was better but I understand the need for the dunes. Our parents, who are in their late 70s, were able to walk the dune path to the beach with little trouble. The elevator came in handy for them as well as for groceries and packing/unpacking.

We travel often and almost always use VRBO unless staying at a hotel. I had high hopes for this home since were staying so long and due to the price point. So I will start with the pros: great location on the beach not being in the middle of all of the crowds. Located in a cul-de-sac so it was great for the kids and dog to play. Pool and hot tub were great having right there. Lots of fun at the pool table. All of the outdoor decks are great! Elevator was much needed and great to have. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plates. Having two dishwashers was perfect!
Now the cons: Quite a few blinds were broken and in the shut position and could not be opened. Quite a few interior and exterior light bulbs were not working (the website says to stop by the office to get some, but honestly I don’t feel as that is my job to do). To have to rent linens in addition to the rental of the home is absolutely absurd, not to mention they are terrible. The pool heat went out with two days left - I texted and left a message and no one called me back, no one showed up to fix it and no one answered my request for a partial refund for the days it wasn’t working. The beds are very firm - all of them. There was ONE roll of toilet paper left in the house upon our arrival. The fireplace should be accessible for people staying there. Barely any of the pool deck rope lighting was working. Only one of the hot tub jets was working and it was pointing straight at peoples heads and couldn’t be turned off or pointed another direction.
Sidenote - the hike up the dune to the beach is a tough one and would be near impossible for anyone with a handicap to access. Plan on bringing plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and dish detergent - we left our leftovers for the next guests so they wouldn’t be so inconvenienced. All in all the house could use a really good deep clean, updating and organizing - didn’t feel it was worth the money. It has a ton of potential.
Their “sister company” VayK Gear made errors in drilling off our rental items (two days late) and then argued about giving a partial refund for the delay, ended up giving a partial refund. We rented chairs, bikes and corn hole and all were nice.

The pictures online are a bit deceiving. This house is in some serious need of TLC. Upon first entry the house has a very strong odor of dog and must. We had to open all of the doors and windows to air it out. You can’t change the settings on the air conditioner and heat and by the end of the week the temps were in the 40s and for some reason the air was on and the house wouldn’t warm past 63. The pool area is also old and needs work. The pool needs resurfaced and the hot tub is very old and the jets weren’t working. The layout of the house is odd, the kitchen and living area were tight. We were also very disappointed with the lack of service provided by the agency that manages the property. There were no written instructions on how to work the TVs or trash days, no welcome basket w starter items and literally no communication whatsoever except to ask us when we were checking out. The only saving grace is that this house is right on the beach although the views were obstructed by dunes. You can really only see the water on the very top floor. We would not stay here again.
