Property itself was clean and tidy, parking was really easy and safe and secure. Overall I was impressed vs what we paid. Check in also earlier than others which was great!

When we got into the room there was a dirty towel and the bed was unmade. We told the team and they said they would sort it while we were out. Later on after returning all our bags were gone. They’d assumed they were the prior guests and when cleaning they placed them downstairs in their office for collection. This was a bit of a stressful few minutes but was resolved in the end.

Clean, well maintained. Friendly staff. Accessible. The cost was reasonable.

Breakfast was efficient and varied.

There is a bit of ambient noise in the hotel that made it hard to sleep. Some vague creaking sounds that seemed to come from the heating or ventilation systems that woke me up a bit. Come with earplugs and you’ll be fine. The beds were very comfy.

Small and code room

I had a very unpleasant situation with a cafeteria worker. When I checked in, I asked when I should pay for breakfast, and the staff member said I could do it upon checkout. The next morning, while I was having breakfast—and had already prepared food and coffee—a kitchen worker from Sri Lanka started insisting that the breakfast hadn't been paid for and demanded payment right then and there. I asked if she could wait until I finished so I could drink my coffee while it was still warm, but she insisted it had to be done immediately. We went to the reception, but there was no one there; the staff member was still resting. She called him over from the sofa so I could pay the €10 for breakfast. Of course, my breakfast got cold in the meantime—thanks to that woman from the kitchen. So, I’m telling her: "We aren't in India; the rules for dining are different here."Don't ruin this hotel's reputation, woman.
