Hotel Italia is a real gem. The family that run the hotel were so welcoming and friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Wonderful location, very close to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Elevator.
The shower did not have a lot of pressure, the rack for the shower cap was to low for me.

Excellent location very close to the beach. Nice quiet town with charming streets and lots of dining choices. Nice Italian style building. The owner was helpful and answered all the questions we asked.
Everything was extremely old and fairly maintained. The bathroom was tiny and horrible - the shower uncomfortable and narrow spaced, the water barely running, inconvenient for children as everything is very high.
The hotel is noisy - you hear when other people shower.
I was surprised to know at the property that we have to pay additional charge for breakfast.

The beach was a one minute walk from the hotel door. They have working air conditioners but I think they’re not cleaned, if I turned it on I instantly started coughing and sneezing. But they worked.
The bed was two uncomfortable twin beds pushed together, which were not equal height. The pillows were paper thin and the fact it’s cash only is a little silly. I had to go to three different atms around the city because most were broken.

Hotel Italia is such an amazing and charming little hotel with the best staff ever. I have nothing to complain about, I enjoyed every moment of my stay there. They offered a very satisfactory service. I completely recommend this place.

We loved Alberto! He was super nice and friendly and undoubtedly a great host. We always stopped by at the reception just to have a chit chat with him. The room and bathroom was very clean and gives a homely atmosphere, which I personally loved. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located just 3-4 minutes walk from the beach and surrounded by many restaurants. It is also a few minutes walk from the station. It was perfect for relaxation. Overall a great experience..

The owner was an extremely angry man and I had to leave because I didn’t feel safe staying there a second night. i felt so bad for his staff that have to deal with him every day. I asked him before I went to bed about the air conditioner not working and he came in super hot, was angry that I didn’t know how to work it, rude and aggressive and when I asked him to leave the room, he wouldn’t. He said: this is MY house. When he finally left the room I didn’t sleep all night and woke up the next day stressed because booking.com was unreachable by phone due to me travelling. I will be contacting my credit card company when I get home to reverse charges. He is the opposite of the sweet Italian men I had become so accustomed to travelling here the last few weeks. Scary!

It is a very nice and very clean establishment, most importantly, you feel safe. If I come to moneglia again, I will choose this hotel again. Moreover, its location is right in the center and very close to the train.

Family hotel with very kind personnel. Room was clean with air-conditioning. Breakfasts vere rich. Beach is very near, as well as train station.
It´s difficult to park in the village and parking lot is far away from hotel.

The staff and Alberto were really welcoming and nice, I would go again!
Sometimes a bit noisy when the neighbors enter their door but most of the time that’s okay :)

It was a good starting point to visit Cinque Terre via train and its near the beach, only 5 minutes to walk .
The room we stayed was not worth the money we paid. It was very old without any style. The hotel has defintely to be renewed. No recommendation.

The location was less than two blocks to the excellent beach area and the medieval town center. It was also next to an excellent bakery/focaccia place plus a nice bar/restaurant for lunches.
I wish it had a refrigerator. Also, the bathroom was tight but functioned well.
