Everything! The location is perfect for peace and quiet but also maximum 10 min away from anything u need. The room with the sea view we booked , apart from the fact that it was exactly the pictures if not better , had also a small terrace to enjoy the view while having a drink. The owner and his son were amazing and very much on top of everything from maintaining the grounds and the pool to accommodating guests and making everyone feel welcome.
Of course there’s a certain need for a car but that would be the case for any stay in Crete in my opinion.

Exceptionally clean and tidy. Well laid out and quiet. Andreas the host was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Friendly laid back atmosphere. Good cooking facilities in the room, plenty of space. Bathroom facilities also good. Lovely hot shower throughout the day and even late at night. Air conditioning fully working and at no extra cost.
Shame there are no on site facilities regarding food and drink. It would be nice to see the bar reinstated with light snacks, even if it was only 3 days a week or over the weekend. Unless you hire a car, the majority of restaurants/ bars are a fair distance away. Also the photos shown on booking.com could be added to. The room we booked was not the one shown in the photos. This can be disappointing if you've been shown an alternative

Really beautiful, peaceful, and traditional vibes. Well maintained and very clean. Very comfortable beds. Well stocked mini kitchen. Close to everything you want and need, but tucked away in peace. Andreas, our host, was kind and always available. Highly recommend.

Fantastic oasis of peace, away from the crowds. Beautiful pool that was never busy. Peace and quiet. We didn't have a car so Andreus kindly took us to the supermarket. He was so helpful throughout our stay.
