Near to train station, market and tourist spots

Everything is accessible, clean and helpful staff.

Great location and despite being advised the taxi could not deliver you to the door it can with the street renovations. Very comfy bed, good washer/dryer and almost no street noise with the windows closed.

Nothing really. The Ramblas is under renovation but this perhaps reduced the crowds.

The host was very kind and helpful, we had all we needed. Very nice and comfortable apartment

Everything was perfect

The hosts were excellent. There is an on-site office to pick up the keys (in the mornings). They let us check in early and were very helpful. The flat is spacious, modern, and well fitted out overall. Large windows. Just across from the food market and close to the Metro.

The flat is over the metro line. We were on the second floor and could hear the trains rumble every 10 minutes. The trains do stop around midnight. It didn't keep us awake, but if you're a light sleeper, this could be a problem. The road outside is being dug up. Nothing anyone can do about it, but it is quite disruptive and can be noisy when the diggers start in the morning. The area is much rougher than I expected. A beggar sat in the entranceway in the evenings. We were approached a couple of times and did not feel safe walking around in the evening. There is a sex museum a couple of doors down from the apartment block. A few other minor points: the shower door leaks and floods the bathroom, so you need to wedge a mat to prevent this; there is no full-sized ironing board (just a tabletop one, which is a bit crazy to use); although there is a tumble dryer, a clothes drying rack would be sensible. Also, when we were there, the lift was broken for two days (and one day it fell a floor or two, trapping a family inside for about 15 minutes). The staff did react very quickly, and an engineer was on site and let the family out, but it was quite shocking at the time.
