While we were of course very satisfied with the facilities and location, what truly sets Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xi'an apart is its people. We were deeply touched by the professionalism, kindness, and genuine thoughtfulness shown by the staff. Our sincere thanks go to Farsave, Willson, Eva, Kevin, and many others whose names we unfortunately did not catch. Their gracious hospitality enriched our time in Xi'an and made it an experience we will always remember.

Stunning property and grounds, comfortable rooms that are clean and maintained. Staff are very helpful and spoke great English!
More vegetarian and western options for breakfast would be a great addition

Everything is perfect, if you ever decide to go to Xian stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
Nothing we did not like. Room big and nice, cleaning twice a day, free minibar, happy hour every day from 17.30 till 19.30, 4 restaurants on the promises.

The facade.
All staff was you g and u experienced. No English. Moreover, they made us feel very unwelcome. Each time we were coming back to hotel, they would ask us the room number. As if they did not know who we were. A 5 start hotel staff must recognize their guests and say”welcome back”, not ask each time room number! Rooms were expensive and quite uneasy to walk around. Carpets were stained everywhere.
