As it’s all remote, and all access is by pin codes not cards etc, no worries about losing cards. No need to deal with lengthy check in procedures etc. very smooth stay. Fantastic location. Ample parking (road parking was actually free when I went)
Can be a little disorienting getting to the top floors, is a bit of a pain if you have heavy bags!

The room we stayed in (14) was very comfortable and was perfect for a weeks stay.
I would have preferred a private kitchen rather than used a shared one

Location was great on the beachfront with a sea view. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable and liked the fact that we had our own small bar fridge and private bathroom on suite. We could walk everywhere.
We battled with the locks on the doors a bit.

It has a small carpark, ideal saves on road parking. Entrance hall and stairs look good, clean and nice carpet. Enter room, clean and tidy. Bedding and towels are clean and smell nice.
So we stayed here knowing it was a budget hotel so not expecting much. Received an email the day before we arrived giving us codes for front door and bedroom - no actual keys and no human beings/staff on site so no one to help unless you message via website, helpful when you need a new hairdryer cause the one in the room blew up due to being so manky on the air inflow part! Anyway I digress....
Only 1 pillow each which are paper thin so bring extras with you as no chance of getting any more as no humans exist here.
Bathroom was clean, shower is a bit pants but on 1st floor so imagine the water pressure isn't great.
No curtains at bedroom window, thin white blind which doesn't stop much light, helps save flashing the beach goers though!
Making a brew, full sized kettle + small sink = fun times filling the kettle (used glass to fill it) Go to put teabags in cups look in cups and they are disgusting! Clearly not changed from last people as had tea residue in the bottom, I decided to find some clean ones in the kitchen. Unfortunately they only provide enough tea supplies for 1 drink (staying 2 nights) and don't replenish or clean the rooms during your stay.
Now the communal kitchen was interesting, stuff everywhere! No one cleans up they use and run! Worst bit was our room was next door to it so we could hear everyone banging about in there and the smell of food cooking would waft into our room, not fun when it was very strong smelling and could still be smelt the next morning!
Hostel (this ain't no hotel 🤣) has signs informing you that if you smoke or vape in your room you will get a £100 fine and if they smell it in your room you will be fined, that's really helpful when all the smokers in the hostel congregate under your window to smoke and it blows in.
On a positive note the Seaview is brilliant.

I liked the room and it comes with a decent sized fridge! Didn't use the kitchens but they are an incredible idea!

Liked the codes on the doors, saves you having to take a key or card when you leave the room.

"I had a fantastic stay here. The room was clean with a perfect view of the sea. It only took me 3 minutes to walk to the beach. The staff was really nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

clean property with a comfy bed.
As a lone woman I felt unsafe. I did not like having to use the key code to enter the property and I was unable to prevent two men following in behind me. The noise travels between rooms, so I got disturbed by next door snoring all night. lack of parking on the property was also a pain.

Location great, very good value for money
Too much light through blinds so awake too early. Loose toilet seat (soon mended but a bit of a fright)

all off it I felt we had the Micky taken out of use we where ment to stay four nights but we told the person who owned the place we could not stay because of the banging of the door all night and there was notes saying the place was a Hostel. we booked with Booking.com who have it as a hotel the rooms where for people working and people who the social worker had put there. not fair when you thought we booked a Hotel

I found the Norton very good and a great views easy getting there it was very clean and quiet l sleep well
Every thing was very positive plenty of hot water instantly a good shower unit there is nothing negative l could say about the Norton l will definitely be recommending it to all my friends who travel in the north east
The huge lounge and pool table was a very good surprise l could sit and do some paper work without any interference great thank you l will use the Norton again it was nice to see all the people walking along that lovely big beach amazing.
The only thing l found difficult was the front steps l have a disability my knees and getting up the front steps
A guard rail down one side would certainly help when l was there another lady found it awkward her shopping etc but that is my only bit of criticism in regard’s to the Norton thank you for a pleasant stay.
