Ottima posizione, struttura interessante e piacevole.
Staff gentile e premuroso.
La stanza con soppalco andrebbe manutenuta ma nel complesso siamo stati bene.

Our experience at the hotel was mixed. Positives first, the staff and the location. However, there are some negative points about the location which depend upon the personal preferences of customers that I shall touch upon later. We interacted with three staff members. They were all extremely helpful, courteous and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. They had the right suggestions, most answers, arranged for a taxi to drop us to the airport and helped us through a challenging situation when I had to drop my luggage at the hotel and return my rental car. The positives about the location is that it is right inside the heart of Athens, Monstriaki, almost everything that defines historical Athens is a walk away. Lots of eating joints in the neighborhood (hundreds, literally) and a great place to feel the vibe
The positive about the location can turn on a dime if you are looking for a good night's sleep. It gets very noisy and stays like that till very late in the night, affecting your sleep. Having dealt with the first negative (some aspects of the location), let's move on to the next one: "the room." Dont get me wrong, the room was clean and had some windows with great views of the plaza downstairs ( not the Acropolis, at least not from our room) but the space was a challenge. The biggest challenge was the bathroom. The shower and toilet/ basin space were separate and the shower was accessed across a weird metallic sliding frame which was very noisy, and most importantly, with no hook to hang a towel in the space adjacent to the shower things were very very inconvenient. The next challenge about the location is finding it. Yes, as ironic it might sound, there is no sign stating the name of the hotel. It is a door with a number and it is located adjacent to another hotel called Tempi. They do send you detailed instructions before your expected date of arrival, but make sure that you read the instructions thoroughly. The door has a key that you need to turn to enter, but sometimes the key is not in its place and no one is at the reception ( although briefly) and you will not be able to enter. So you need to keep the main door key with you always.

The room was really nice but what it made the difference was the service!

The room was clean.
There was no bottled water. The bottles contained tap water.
The window was broken, and it kept opening during the night bec of wind, which was kind of scary for me.
There was also a lot of noises.
