Great location, staff were super helpful, clean and comfy, rooftop pool and just nice to be in a smaller boutique hotel where they have a personal touch- hands down the best service we had in Mallorca.

Really enjoyed our five night stay at the La Goleta Hotel de Mar. This is a little gem of a hotel where the staff were absolutely first class and the room price was very good value for money. Our room was stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the housekeeping service was excellent. The breakfast buffet served in the hotel's delightful street front cafe with beach front sea view was of a very high quality. The roof top pool and sunbathing area is pleasant and has excellent views into the mountains. What we particularly liked about this hotel however was that, despite it having a fabulous central location, it was very quiet overnight. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel and in recommending it to friends and family.

Very disappointing experience. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. During check-out, we requested assistance with our luggage and were met with resistance and an argument from a receptionist. We were told that because this is a 4-star hotel, we should not expect the same level of service as a 5-star hotel. I found this response unprofessional and unacceptable. The lack of hospitality extended beyond the front desk. Even when politely asking a server for a glass of water, we were told to get it ourselves from the restaurant because it was self-service. Simple requests were handled with little courtesy or willingness to help. I have traveled extensively around the world and have stayed in many hotels of various categories, but I have rarely encountered service this poor. The overall atmosphere was unfriendly and far from the relaxing, enjoyable vacation experience we were hoping for. Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised This hotel is a small boutique property with very small rooms. However, the way it is advertised gives the impression of a much larger hotel with extensive amenities, which is misleading. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and a peaceful vacation.
