Lovely staff, cozy atmosphere
Description of “short walk to Akakura lift” is quite misleading. The property is down a fairly steep road and at least a 10 minute strenuous walk. We chose the accommodation on the basis of its claimed location. The property offers a mini van shuttle to the lifts (but not back). Just not as convenient as the name suggests. Without a restaurant, you are faced with quite a hike each night into town. Otherwise a lovely stay

Great accomodation with nice clean facilities, yummy daily breakfast & courtesy shuttle into town each morning. The hosts & staff were fabulous, very friendly & nothing was any trouble for them.
Nothing, great place but it is at the bottom of the hill & hard on the legs if you’re walking to & from town.

Comfortable and clean, Kimi and Miyu are such great hosts.

Great family run lodge. Kimi and Miyu were awesome; easy to get to know, service minded and great service.
Not much to be honest. Slightly cold perhaps, and hearing with gas (as usually in Japan).
