Newly renovated apartment with all amenities you can possibly want in your vacation home, fully equipped kitchen and magnificent views of the Eiger, Lauterbrunnen valley from the balcony. Right across the train station and close to everything. Will definitely stay again!!

1. perfect location
2. beautiful view
3. beautiful spacing
Four bath towels to last for 11 days is not good. Most hotels provide more at no extra cost.

The location is super convenient. It looks down on the train station and is right across from the market and is convenient to the trams and hikes. It feels like I was staying at my grandparents' place. Others have commented on how dated the furniture is and this is true, however, it is still in very good condition and there is a little bit of old world charm to it. I especially like what looks like hand painted tiles on the bathroom walls. I think the pictures are accurate. We found the beds clean and comfortable, a bit on the firmer side. The fan was much appreciated as it is up on the 4th floor and it does get warm. We loved sleeping with all the windows open. You do get some noise from the train station and the restaurant below, but nothing bothersome.
The kitchen, while well equipped with plates and cooking utensils, was lacking on basics. It would have been nice to have to have salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and some paper towels.
