Immerso in Little Compton, questo affascinante cottage a 295 € per notte è un eccellente scelta per il tuo prossimovacanza. Rallegratevi e ringiovanire in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso. Questo cottage di nuova costruzione (costruito nel 2011) si trova alla fine di una strada privata, direttamente su una baia. Dal vecchio muro di pietra di fronte, è letteralmente un tiro di schioppo verso l'oceano. A destra di dove vostre terre di pietra è una costa rocciosa (pesca!), A sinistra è una spiaggia di ciottoli (nuoto!), Ed entro le escursioni distanza intorno ai punti su entrambi i lati (spiaggia pettinatura!) sono grandi spiagge di sabbia (castelli di sabbia!). Un piccolo ruscello scorre nella baia. A meno di due miglia di strada da South Shore Beach.
Il cottage ha una camera da letto, soggiorno / sala da pranzo con divano sonno futon, angolo cottura con lavastoviglie, lavatrice e asciugatrice, un bagno completo (doccia), una doccia esterna, un loft non arredato che può ospitare tre, Veranda, e grill a gas. Noi siamo i vostri vicini e apprezziamo affittuari ragionevolmente tranquilli.
Venite ascoltare l'oceano, ammirare le stelle, a piedi lungo la riva, leggere un romanzo e sentire il vento. La vacanza modo di una volta.

My husband and I absolutely loved this little house. The accommodations were straightforward and included everything we needed for our week long getaway. The well stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. We walked to a farmer’s market for fresh produce and high quality premade pizza that just needed to be warmed up. The property owner/host couldn’t have been nicer. He stopped by to make sure were settled. Little Compton is a great place for taking long walks on the beach and for exploring the picturesque surroundings on foot or with a bike . It was less than a 2 hr drive from Boston, but felt much farther away.

Location, location, location is all you need to say! Wish there were more good restaurants in the area. We were lucky in that the weather was perfect every day. Good walking area. The owner was easy to deal with and the information supplied was very helpful.

This cottage is in a spectacular location. Beautiful view and the lovely sound of the ocean. The town itself is very sweet and everyone was exceptionally kind.

thoughtfully considered and beautifully sited, Maus Haus is always a welcome, restorative escape-- swimming in the cove, clambering over the rocks, meals on the screened porch, walks to Wishingstone Farm...a perfect stay this year under the super blue moon.

The cottage was perfectly comfortable, well equipped,
And amazingly situated. The owner supplied information on the area= swimming, hiking, restaurants, boating, beaching…….. perfectly quiet, stunning sunrises and the lulling of the ocean’s waves.

A great place to relax! The beach was only steps away and mostly deserted - loved the fires at night. The screened in porch was great for breakfast, reading and board games. Communication with the owner was easy and responses were always prompt. Would highly recommend.

The many discoveries on the beach daily... even in the foggy weather we felt like we were in Ireland with the stone walls and sea... For us, there is no other place from now on!

We really enjoyed our time in little Compton. Beautiful setting, house was clean and host was very responsive and helpful. We feel relaxed and recharged after our stay! We enjoyed exploring the shoreline with our dog :)

I can’t imagine a more beautiful location for a fall get-away to the seaside.
Everything that we could have needed was provided. We awoke to the sunshine streaming in the eastern windows over the bay. We walked the beach with our dog and explored the eddies and tide pools around the cliffs. Nighttime star-gazing was magical and included more than one shooting star.
The host is so helpful and responsive - the best that I’ve encountered!
Wilbur’s General Store and a wine shop are just a six minute drive and well worth a visit. Wishing Stone Farms is a great family-run farm stand with just about all the fresh produce you need to cook a great meal.
The views of the sea will take your breath away!
All in all, a five star rating!

Maus Haus is an enchanting place where you can truly "Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly" (Van the Man). This is just what we did on our recent stay in this serene, heavenly spot where full moons rise over breakwaters in the cove just beyond the cottage doors, and brilliant orange/red hues fill the sky at sunrise. Little Compton is a quintessential coastal New England town with an abundance of natural beauty, many lovely beaches, rolling farmlands and wooded trails for hiking and biking. The cottage is cozy and well designed with all the essentials. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend Maus Haus to anyone who seeks a peaceful, seaside holiday in an extraordinary setting.

This is a great little cottage by the ocean. Swimming in the back yard and a sandy beach just a few minutes away. The house is small but has everything you need to enjoy Little Compton. If you're looking for a lot of time near and in the ocean then this is a great option. The owner was very clear with welcome instructions, gave plenty of tips for things to do, and we had a great time.

The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. The view is awesome! The beach is rocky, but pleasant. The location was perfect for me as just around the corner from family members; family members loved it too. It is also not far from the center of Little Compton. Loved the screen porch! Would definitely return here.

A peaceful week in nature
The cottage was just as described: simple and lovely. The bed is comfy. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher are seem new and work well. The outdoor shower is great, with excellent water pressure. We ate every meal on the screened-in porch, and had coffee on the beach nearly every morning, with entertainment provided by various shore birds. We did a fair amount of cooking in the basic kitchen, but also were happy to find that nearby farm stands had some prepared foods: Wishing Stone Farm and Young Family Farm. We also drove to Adamsville for great to-go sandwiches at Simmons Market, and had a lovely morning visit to the Art Cafe before a woodsy walk on the Dundery Brook Trail. Little Compton is a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

We spent a wonderful week in this Little Compton cottage. It was in May and, thus, we had the nice "private" beach just for ourselves and our dog. The locaation of the cottage could not be closer to the sea; it sits in a very quiet neighborhood and there are nice walks to do at dusk in the surroudings. the cottage has all the things you need to cook and enjoy the sea. The gazebo is very pleasant. the bedroom (and the bed) is small but the living room (opened on the kitchen) is more the place to stay.
The host , Doug, is very helpful and there are plenty of informations on the services that can be found in Little Compton.

This is a great little cottage directly on the ocean cove. This is our third stay here. Our dog was allowed and that is a number one requirement for us. Not too much around so if you are looking to unplug and relax by the sea this is your place. The owners are very pleasant to deal with. Our only negative is always the firm mattress which is not our style but some like.

This is a great little cottage directly on the ocean cove. This is our third stay here. Our dog was allowed and that is a number one requirement for us. Not too much around so if you are looking to unplug and relax by the sea this is your place. The owners are very pleasant to deal with. Such a lovely escape, with sunrises, sunsets, beach walks on South Shore beach and Goosewing, and the magical combination of a view and a screen porch. The simple cottage had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfy. Thank you for a restorative week!

We just adore this location. We are repeat customers. It is so private, quiet and restful. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing cannot be beat! Our dog also enjoyed the freedom and the luxury of a beach close to the house.
