What did you like about the property?
We absolutely loved our stay at Horta da Coutada. It is such a warm, charming and welcoming place, beautifully decorated with lovely artsy pieces and thoughtful details that give it so much character. It feels less like a hotel and more like staying in a beautiful Alentejo home.
Mariana and Tomas are wonderful hosts, genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel completely at home. The breakfast was exceptional, easily one of the best we have had during our travels, with wonderful variety, quality and presentation. The location is also excellent, peaceful and relaxing while being very convenient for exploring Monsaraz and the surrounding area.
We left wishing we could stay longer. If we return to Monsaraz, we wouldn’t even look for somewhere else to stay. We would come back to Horta da Coutada in a heartbeat. Thank you, Mariana and Tomas, for making our stay so memorable!
Nothing at all. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
