walking distance to Charlestown Harbour.
it would have been nice to have a couple of tea bags and some milk for a welcoming cup of tea on arrival. Also there was no dishcloth or bin liners available. The television was ver small.

Very comfortable bed but the TV was problematic and I think a small welcome would be good as no shop within walking distance

The location is great..within walking distance to the harbour and restaurants.
The property was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped...including dishwasher tabs and washing machine sachets. Bed linen and towels all spotless.

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed.
We had a major problem with the hot water. We had not had a bath since Tuesday evening 21st and only got to have a bath on the 25th. The plumber did come around and said that the boiler was faulty but he couldn't do anything as it needed to be replaced. We had to regulate the flow of the water in order to get a hot bath which took ages when it came to running a bath. Turing the hot water tap to halfway resulted in lukewarm/cold water. This applied to every hot water tap on the property. Not once did we have any form of Communication, apology or compensation from the owner. This to me was very disappointing and unacceptable. A phone call to see if we were OK or offer an alternative would have been really nice! Mid winter with a 4 year old child and no bath for 3 days was awful. Apart from this...we have no complaints about the property.

Clean and had everything we needed, liked the coffee machine and microwave which both came in handy. Beds comfortable and location lovely for evenings in Charlestown although we decided it was slightly too far to walk. Car park in town was good.
No toilet paper as promised but had brought some of our own. DVD player not working and shower made whining noise when in use. Parking space very tight. A mirror in the second bedroom would be a great addition.

The property is in a great location .
The mattresses are not great . Would not come back unfortunately to this place only because of beds . Stayed for 5 nights and that was way too long for my back.
The cleaning of the place needs to be paid attention to , especially if guests are asked to strip the beds as they leave ! Behind the beds , furniture and elsewhere the amount dust , too obvious and unpleasant.

The cottage is a nice size with a good standard of fixtures and fittings. Very clean with a nice little garden. The location is perfect for touring the south coast and Charlestown itself is charming

Everything availlable to make a good stay.Wifi sorted out immediatelt. Excellent service
