very impersonal decor, but mainly it was freezing cold and the heater could only be switched on for 3 hours at a time but did nothing to heat up the place. It was super humid and the temperature did not go above 13-15 degrees Celsius. also there were only two blankets for 4 (2 singles one double) beds. thankfully we were only 2 sharing the small double bed, but I slept in my clothes and scarf. Also there were no towels available for hygiene reasons (?) and we asked to get some and they did give us two towels. also there is 0 noise insulation so we could hear everything being said and done in the adjacent appartments.

I cannot understand the other reviews regarding the cleanliness. The dishes were dirty and there was even some of the mold on it. There were also a lot of drain flies in the apartment. For this price we would have expected more.

A truly special place about a 100m back from the beautiful beach of El Palmar and close to great bars and restaurants. Not over decorated but just right: beautifully clean, all the kitchen equipment that you need and in a very quiet location with its own private entrance gate. The host was really friendly and we came away knowing that we will be back. And the big bonus for us was that we could travel with our little dog. There are four bikes ready to go on site should you fancy cycling into Conil or Caños de Meca for a change of scene. We highly recommend dining at La Torre - next to the eponymous tower - which is just yards from the ocean (most of the restaurants in El Palmar have the busy coastal road between you and the breakers.

A little tricky to find. Some kind of arrival map would have been useful. And it would be nice to have some kind of information booklet with a map listing bars and restaurants etc.
