Unacceptable rude staff.
DO NOT STAY THERE.
I booked a room with breakfast included for one night and I nedded to leave the hotel at 3am because my flight was at 5am. I asked on the front desk to pack my breakfast into a lunch box as I needed to leave earlier and didn't have an opportunity to have breakfast at standart time. Manager refused to do it because from their perspective if I want to have breakfast early I need to pay an additional fee. I was quite surprised to hear that and ask to make a refund for breakfast as I already paid for it. He didn't understand me and I was need to use google transate to explain my request as his english wasn't good enough which is fine but could be better. When he read my message he simply started laughing at my face!!! Than he went to office where were other colleagues and I heard laughing from there as well. When he finally back to me I asked to make just a couple of sandwiches and some fruits to take away. Guess what..? Laughing again. At the end of this story he wrote in google translation that "breakfast is a courtesy from the hotel and they will not provide it if I need to leave earlier.
One additional feedback, I was too tired to go somewhere and find a place for dinner so I decided to stay at hotel's restaurant. In literally empty restaurant besides me I was waiting 30 minutes for one meal and red house wine was awful.

I checked out one hour after checking in. Rooms feel like a jail and smelled of heavy bug spray

Do atendimento. As pessoas foram preparadas para receber os hóspedes do hotel. Elas eram receptivas, agradáveis e falo isso desde o serviço de arrumação dos quartos quanto dos demais funcionários do hotel - recepção, restaurante e da Gerente Manuela.
Time altamente preparado para receber os hóspedes e resolver os problemas que pudessem aparecer.
O Hotel London está de Parabéns!!!!
Não posso opinar, pois fomos bem recebidos e não tivemos qualquer contra-tempo.

Really lovely little hotel. Some nice restaurants in the area and excellent breakfast with water view. Good for a night stop over in Santarém.

The hotel location is great: right on the coast with a view of the “encontro de las aguas” where the Amazon and the Tapajos river come together. The walk along the coast is very nice and authentic. The room itself was adequate and had a fridge; the breakfast started at 6 am which was great because we had to leave early.
Our view was of the parking garage; there was only one reading lamp for the double bed and the plug was placed between our pillows.

Very helpful reception staff helped me to set up and use the 99 app to call a taxi, as Uber has no cars in Santarem.
No bedside lighting for reading in bed.

a very very confusing layout. 2 on the elevator was actually the third floor. I always found it hard to find my room 213. I wouldn’t want to be getting out of the hotel in an emergency

This hotel was better than I expected for a “remote” town. It’s location is the best in Santarém, right in front of the Tapajós River. It has a large terrace with great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Don’t expect 5 stars but it is as good as it gets.

since I have not completed three whole stays I think they could have given me a discount considering I'll be stayng for more one day and some hours and will be payng for two days. Also they told me, when we arrived, that breakfast would be served 'til 11 am when we arrived, at 10:45 it was finished ...

Great breakfast, beautiful view from the breakfast area of the Tapajós river and the Amazonas River. Excellent location in the city.
Mold in my bathroom, which made the entire room smell moldy. There is no window in the room that opens to the outside. Only to a shaft. If I come back I would see if they could give me a room with an actual window. Also the long corridor felt claustrophobic and I don't want to think about the problems they would have in getting people out if there is a fire...
