This is a very nice property... great views of the Marsh. Plenty of room for a large group, though we were a group of two. Check in was super easy and the property was in good shape. Internet worked great. In the way of amenities it was a little below the top quality for VRBO properties that I’ve stayed at.. Dishwasher soap was provided. Coffee filters, washing machine detergent, salt and pepper and additional trash bags needed to be purchased. Grill is charcoal, not propane. Those minor items aside, this was a great place to spend a week...we would be happy to return.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at this beautiful home, just our immediate family. Gave us a chance to get out of our house and have a different view for a few days! The house has lovely views of the marsh, downstairs and up. It was fun to cook and be able to watching movies with the family at the same time. Very much appreciated that the house had good cookware and plenty of serving and baking dishes, not always the case. Loved the porches. Spent lots of time reading on the two porches, and admiring the view. The beds were very comfortable with nice bed linens. The house was tastefully furnished (also not always the case!), and was very comfortable. The couches in the great room were so comfortable! Great location, easy to get to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants for take out, as well as convenient to Savannah. Joy from Tybee Rentals even brought us by an aluminum turkey roasting pan! Hoping to return for another vacation next year!

The process to rent the property was easy and the property was very clean! We loved the views and lots of space for our whole family (2 adults and three kids). We love the wildlife...family of racoons and some local crabs. Quiet neighborhood and easy to find. Easy to drive to the beach..we all had a wonderful vacation getaway and would recommend this property for sure!

My goodness, this place is absolutely spectacular! What a view...inside and out. We visited in November, and although the weather did not cooperate, the home sure did! Truly beautiful and spacious.

The price per night is good, the cleaning fee is high. So for a weekend might be too high. Would recommend placing a number in the wall to make it easier to find the first time.

Very easy to rent and check in/out. Property was clean and very cute decor. Location being on North end of Island was nice but the view wasn't the best thing to look at. Overall still very relaxing though.

Thank you fir such a beautiful stay. We loved Tybee and all the sites. Our home was so beautiful and we couldn't of asked fir anything better. Definitely will book again.

We stayed at Sunset Hammock in early March 2019. My friends and I are in our early/mid 20s and just wanted a nice, relaxing spring break that wouldn’t break our wallets and tybee is such a cute place. We had 8 girls fit comfortably in the home (there are more beds than pictured, we had spares), the balconies wrapping around the width of the building on both floors was absolutely my favorite part. Beautiful sunsets! There wasn’t anyone staying on the other side of the triplex until the last night we were there, so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves it was awesome, so quiet and peaceful as well as never had a problem playing our own music and hanging outside if we wanted to! There is a fire pit and little swing below the building. Use the breezeway (?i think it’s called) taxi service instead of Uber’s/lyfts (cash only taxi, $3 a person anywhere on the island). Being able to go into savannah whenever we wanted was nice too. We even got to spend our last day getting some sun at the beach! Would absolutely stay here again, the decor, the beautiful walk in shower, the exuberance of comfortable beds, the ability to use free passes for a bike/kayak! We all fell in love! Thanks so much!

We visited the home in mid October of this year (2018)... We had a party of 9 and I loved the way Sunset Hammock looked on the Tybee Joy website. It is located on the marsh, maybe about a five minute drive from the beach, but it is WELL worth the 5 minute drive, I promise you!! If you like beautiful sunrises AND sunsets, this is definitely the place for you!I would like to tell you what cable or satellite or internet option (like Roku) was provided, but we never turned the TV on. We spent our time on one of the two decks watching the birds over the marsh, listening to the crabs clap away as they caught fish,..... Amazing!! Just amazing!!! We even had a vist from a family of raccoons!! They climbed up in an oak tree in the back yard--a momma and her 3 sweet babies. They didn't stay long but we really enjoyed watching them!! We visited the pier at night where we were able to see bioluminescent jellyfish during high tide. We visited Mid Beach during the day where the girls were able to pick up shells and play in the water. Everyone else climbed the lighthouse while I stood below and waited... Lots of activities for the family to do. Plus a lot of areas were wheelchair accessible so my aging, disabled mother could join in with us without tiring out too fast. I was actually kind of worried that I might not be able to cook for everyone in the kitchen when I first booked our stay--I mean, 9 is quite a crowd... Most places don't have the pots or pans in sizes that would be required to cook for that many people but Sunset Hammock had it ALL!! We made a trip to the local IGA on Tybee (where we were greeted by a VERY friendly staff)and bought the things we needed at actually reasonable prices.... Don't let anyone tell you that grocery shopping on the island is expensive because it really isn't!! But as for us, we have all decided that for our next Tybee stay, there is only one place for us--Sunset Hammock!! I do think

Overall the house was in a good location for the island but the building was sorely in need of upkeep in many areas. Bathrooms were particularly dirty. Floors were swept but not really clean - especially since they charged a good amount for their cleaning services. There were water stains ( past and current) on the ceiling and an unkept backyard/deck area compared to surrounding rental homes.

The house was dirty, I could smell stale cigarette smoke in downstairs bath and bedroom, no supplies that should be customary fir the amount of money paid, the grounds were not mowed, there were garbage and " stuff" left over from previous renters, things were broken, lots of burned out light bulbs, there was a small science experience that growing in the upstairs shower, the grill was a joke,,, leaking faucet in kitchen drove us crazy,,, the screen on the tv upstairs was barely legible, it has a huge dark area on the left side of screen ,, and why it repair the elevator,,,, we found it difficult with our elderly parents,,,, although it's " pet friendly" ,, it should be with the outrageous pet deposit,,, We did find the decks cool to enjoy both morning and evening, the beds were comfy and lots of space fir everyone. The house is pretty convenient to most everything,, the kitchen is well equipped( may need a few utensils) ,,,
