Nice painted ceiling.

No hot water on arrival. Messaged host but was after cut off time for office so no hot water for 24hrs, bar across the road had a band playing til midnight the first night. Kettle tripped circuit breaker anytime you used it but doesn’t matter because there was no complimentary tea/coffee. In fairness the hot water was sorted the following late afternoon but we already ended up booking other accomodation before using it. No word from hosts after we explained why we were leaving and no attempt at all on their part to offer recompense for the inconvenience.

Great setting and location; appt with 1 bed and painted ceiling was fab; other with 2 beds not so special; all beds comfortable memory foam; company were communicative and moved us to another property when we asked; we liked large bare room with just a bed and place for clothes

Whole building being renovated: noisy and dusty - we should have been told in advance. Restaurants around can be noisy in eve (bands/music); restaurant smells in entrance hall but not in flats; sparsely equipped tho we weren’t trying to cook.

The apartment is centrally located and the company who manages it is very responsive over whatsapp. Mattresses are comfortable and the rooms are large. Easy and free to park nearby. The town itself and area itself is great.

Surprise check in fee of €20 for arriving after 8pm. The aparment is extremely noisy. There is loud music from the bars below, and a lot of traffic sound with no double glazing. The building is very old and it is not well maintained. There is also a smell of fried food coming into the apartment from the restaurants below. Apartment is not well taken care of and the details that make these stays nicer aren't there. For example some things are broken and the kitchen is not well equipped...no spatula to even flip an egg, dirty pans, no microwave. No small things to welcome guests like shampoo, coffee, sugar. If looking for just a place to sleep it's OK, but in all I believe there are better places to stay in Syracuse.

The location of the property is perfect.

The property is very noisy. Noise is heard from all apertures of the apartment, even with people speaking under the balcony which is heard very clear from the apartment. There is zero sound insulation especially in the bedroom.

Location of the apartment is absolutly perfect. At the entry to Ortigia, restaurants and groceries nearby.

photos showing the apartment are a mix of few apartments so you never know which one are you renting. I though I am renting the apartment with this splendid roof but received with a tarasse from the inside of the building.

The location was fantastic and the staff really helpful and proactive with our booking/check-in arrangements, especially with our circulation and parking permit in the historic centre. The apartment was spacious and the rooms tastefully decorated.

The mattress was among the worst I have slept on in my life, and I have slept on really terrible ones. The area is particularly noisy and although the windows are double, the window cases are old wood and do nothing to keep the noise out. The apartment was very clean on the surface, but no one had cleaned under the beds and other not-easy-to-clean parts in a long time. Kitchen equipment was there, but it would have been great to also have a few basics (salt, pepper, olive oil...)

We loved the apartment. It's in a historic building next to the harbor. There are big windows in every room, so lots of natural light, but you can close the shutters at night, and it's soundproof. It's very modern and tastefully decorated. We loved the layout and the comfortable furniture. Very high quality, not Ikea. My husband loved the huge TV in the bedroom, and I loved that you could watch the sunset over the harbor from the bed. Free public parking right in front of the building. Close to everything in Ortigia. Just a few streets away from the Market where you can get the best sandwiches ever at Caseificio Borderie!

Great location: the apartment is at the beginning of the pedestrian area, yet in front of a free parking area. It is also just a few steps from the market, so it is difficult to get a better location. The place is also cean and newly renovated.

Not as in the pictures: I booked this places for my mom's 65 birthdays, so I was happy to pay a bit more to get something special. I really liked the pictures of this place, particularly the room with the beautiful ceiling. That's why I booked it. Yet, we didnt get any of that. The place was newly renovated, but dark, with a very small kitchen, and there was nothing historical or special about the apartment. In additon, altough the places is newly renovated, several things didnt work well. The air conditioning was leaking, so there was water all over. The shower door was defective, and there was a strange smell in the place.  Finally, we had a bad experience with the agency that manages the flat. Thry tried to charge an extra 70eur for allegedly leaving the place "too dirty," which was absolutely not true. They sent us a picture of dirty dishes in the sink, and when we told them that all the dishes were placed in the dishwasher, they said that the dishwasher was too dirty, so they had to take the dishes out. (Note that we went out for dinner the night before, so there were only a few dishes from the breakfast - again all placed in the dishwasher.)

Fully equipped apartment and child facilities provided as well. The staff were quick to reply with any queries and supported us as much as possible, including applying for ZTL permit and providing information regarding parking possibilities.,

Communal area is in dire need of restoration/ refurbishment and not very welcoming.

the location was very convenient if you are visiting with your car! options of restaurants, bars and supermarket very close! staff very helpful too!

Location, big, very clean, new furniture

No lift, very bad hob couldn't use it, no microwave, no bowls, no oven dish, no tray for wet cups

Location was great, close to new Syracuse and close to Ortigia center and market. The rooms has big ceiling and the rooms are big enough. There is a big table in the kitchen where you can have your meals. There are also 2 small balconies and 1 bigger internal terrace. The bedroom on the street size is more noisy(especially when the garbage is collected at 5 am in the morning), but the other one is very silent.

The heating in winter time is not so good, you need to have the air heater always open, because when you stop it immediately is getting cold. But, with the air heaters on almost all the time, the heating in apartment was ok. There is no coffe machine.

no towel changes in 5 days. the flat unfortunately suffers from moisture. there was mold on one wall and a damp smell every time you got into the flat.

Massive apartment in a great location. Perfect for a weekend trip!

"Sea view" was obstrcuted. Towels were too small to use on any adult, we were only given 6-8 coathangers despite the huge wardrobe and a lot of the appliances (for example the TV) were not practical.

We left the apartment clean but were told when giving the keys if we did not empty the bins we would be charged. This was not clear when checking in, so it was a bit rushed when leaving as we had to empty 4 bins. There were also women’s sanitary towels & used wrappers left in drawers from previous guests. Other than that, it was a perfect stay and very impressive apartment. Would highly recommend
