Location: excellent! There is no better location in Arcachon. You are located on the beach and just 5 min walk from the pier to take the boat to Cap Ferret. Amenities: the host has included everything you could possibly need (much more than I expected). The host is courteous and helpful as well !

Perfect location, across the road from the beach. It was also close to restaurants and all the village amenities. There is a lovely balcony with a beach view. There were parasols and recliners for the beach which were very handy. Our host couldn't do enough for us. He was very helpful and welcoming. We particularly appreciated being collected and dropped off. We were provided with a fridge full of food and everything we needed for breakfast. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make a meal. The apartment was nicely furnished with lots of light from a large patio door onto the balcony.

The sleeping arrangements were not what I expected. The property description says it has one bedroom. It actually has a built-in sleeping loft. While skilfully constructed and a clever use of space, this isn't really a bedroom in the normal meaning of the word. The ceiling of the loft is very low, I had to crawl to get into the bed and couldn't sit up straight without touching the ceiling. The stairs were steep and narrow, I was afraid of falling down them if I had to get up during the night. There was an alcove below the loft with 2 single beds. The ceiling is low, an average sized adult couldn't stand up in it. It's fine for children but not for adults. We ended up sleeping on the sofa bed. This opened out into a double bed which was very comfortable. We had to open and close it every day, it was a bit tricky to operate at first but we soon got the hang of it. I can see from their reviews that other guests liked the loft and appreciated its novelty value. The description should give more details about the sleeping arrangements, so people know what to expect and can decide whether it's for them.
