Typisches feines italienisches Frühstück. Hotel ist mit älterem Mobiliar charaktervoll ausgestattet aber sehr gepflegt und sympathisch. Beste Lage am Lago Maggiore und Nähe Zentrum. Sehr sympathisches Personal.

Das Hotel im Old-style war eine Überraschung, ich denke vor uns schlief schon Louis XIV in diesem Bett. Es hat uns sehr gefallen nicht einen dieser modernen Hotels zu finden.
Das Frühstück könnte man auslassen, kein Brot und alles wurde lieblos auf den Tisch geschmettert. Keine Körbchen, sondern mit der Hand auf den Tisch gelegt. Ein wenig wie "friss oder stirb". Das ganze Hotel bedarf einer sioliden Grundrestaurierung, Teppiche durchgewetzt, Fugen fehlen, Türen quitschen..... halt eben alt.

Die Freundlichkeit des Familiengeführten Hotels war toll. Das Zimmer hatte einen tollen Blick auf den See. Sehr Zentrale Lage!
Das Hotel ist sehr Alt und das merkt man auch an den Zimmern, aber dafür ist es auch sehr günstig! Wer allerdings Ruhe sucht, der ist hier nicht richtig. Die Zentrale Lage sorgt für sehr viel nächtlicher Lärm, so auch die Müllabfuhr die das Leergut der Flaschen während unserer Anwesenheit von drei Nächten morgens abholt und teilweise einzeln in die Fahrzeug wirft und vorangehend natürlich alle Gastwirte die Ihr Leergut noch Nachts ohne Rücksicht in die Tonnen kippen... Das ist ein kommunales Problem, worunter man als Hotelgast aber leider leiden muss.

Die Ausstattung/ Einrichtung ist alt und unkomfortabel, die Mattratze extrem hart und unbequem, muffiger Geruch, Klimanlage defekt - daher offenes Fenster bei Lärm bis 2:00 auf dem Platz vor dem Haus,

room was clean , very basic but has all it needs for short stay.
located in a very busy city square / quite noisy.

Great location, nice and interesting staff! Clean sheets, clean accomodation.
The staff brings you coffee of your choice to your table for breakfast, which was a very nice touch. They made foamy warm milk for my child. The breakfast was minimalistic, but considering the price, you could not really ask for more.
The hotel is very old - retro, like from the 60s or 70s. It is not necessary a bad thing, especially not for a one night stay. It was interesting.
The bathroom is not good for a little child, the showerhead was installed very high and ww could barely reach down.

It is in a wonderful location with a really great view. Room was clean and large and bed was comfortable. It was really hot and room only has a fan, but the breeze from the window with this was ok. No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Beautiful location with wonderful views of the lake and easy access to restaurants. Perfect for a walk along the lake with immediate access to the hotel.
Expected a more modern or renovated hotel. Old building and old rooms. Not the most comfortable beds. It was suitable situation for a single night.

Staff is extremely friendly. Location is superb. Rooms are quite spacious. Building has charm.
Hotel is excellent value. Price is low, so there should be some downsides: place is a bit old and stuffy.
