Great location in Venice, accommodating hosts, and most importantly an AC! Great place!

Location was great. It was a short walk from the train station and found it no problem. Great area for restaurants, and grocery store in piazza. Gondola rides just steps away. The view from the bedroom is amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. Great area for exploring the city, Start the day with a cafe and end the day with a gelato, both just around the corner.
It was odd that we were asked to ensure the unit was clean and ready for other guests when we left including removal of the limited refuse from our two night stay. The courtyard area is incredibly small and is located in the communal front entry, next to a residents from door as well as the garbage. It was dark and not comfortable. It was not inviting with no place to sit and relax. Stairs to the apartment are not for the faint of heart.
