Immacolata casa di 4 stagioni sul lungolago di Island Pond. Questa casa con 3 camere da letto con vista sul lago è la casa vacanza perfetta per motoslitte, motociclisti, fuoristrada, diportisti o semplicemente per chi è alla ricerca di relax. Il master al 1 ° piano ha un letto matrimoniale e due camere da letto al piano superiore hanno ciascuna letti full size. Cucina completa e due bagni. House ha una bellissima sala da sole 4 stagioni che si affaccia sullo splendido lungolago. Appena fuori dal sentiero VAST ea pochi passi dal varo della barca. Downtown è a 2 miglia di distanza dove ci sono negozi, ristoranti, carburante e grandi concerti estivi. Le piste del regno sono a circa 20 minuti d'auto e Jay Peak a circa 50 minuti d'auto.

The house is in an excellent location and is clean and smells great. We did have a bit of a hiccup as we wanted to use our boat while there and did not realize until after that the owners keep their boat on the dock. They were really great about it though and moved their boat for the weekend we were there which was great. They were very responsive when messaging as well which was nice.
The only thing we did not like is that we never really felt like we could be comfortable. We have rented other properties like VRBO before and it was sort of like renting a hotel the only difference was that you needed to put the dishes in the dish washer. This house although country decorated and clean had a lot of personal items present so it was more like staying at a family members house rather than a rental property. We did not care for this. There was food in the fridge and personal items in the bathrooms. It was not a good feeling. For those of you who don’t mind this sort of thing I am sure it would be great. For us it was extremely uncomfortable.
We also felt that given the cleaning fee that was assessed we should not be expected to leave the property as we found it. There was more than one note regarding this. If I am on vacation the last thing I want to do is have to clean a place before I leave. To clarify I do not mind putting any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and I would not mind putting a load of towels in the washing machine, but I definitely do not want to have to wait for any of these to complete their cycle so I can put them away. Because of the fact that we were local we ended up showering at our apartment so we did not use the towels and in the end vacated the house a night early. It is unfortunate that we did not feel comfortable using the property given the price per night plus the cleaning fees etc.
Being right on the lake is very nice. It is pretty shallow on this part of the lake but it is really lovely to sit and have a fire. Bring bug spray though as the mosquitoes are horrible.

Perfect spot for snowmobiling home base
House is on the trails and was clean with nice space. The parking and outside space made it easy to maneuver and turn around trailers. Commutation was great and the house had all that our family needed. This house is worth the price.

This location was perfect and the house was exactly what we were hoping for a nice relaxing weekend. There was plenty of space, it was very private, and the screened in porch was where we spent most of our time. It rained the entire time we were there and we still had a great time! We are hoping to return again next summer!

The only thing I would add to this property to make it a truly 5 star rated getaway is a decent hot tub on a slight extension to the already well designed deck area. They could definitely receive an increase in fees for this. Very friendly people in town and at all the local restaurants and good food…!! Nice to see individuals investing in their community. Very nice!

My husband and I spent 2 nights with his parents at The Akers home. It is such a beautiful place with a fantastic host. Alyssa was very responsive to my questions. The weather wasn’t ideal however we lucked out with no rain until the evenings allowing us to get out on the lake to paddle board and kayak. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed to make breakfast and dinner. The Weber grill has a griddle that worked great for grilling fish. There’s not much options for dinning out or grocery shopping in the area but we knew that going in and we’re able to plan accordingly. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful home with lake access and all the amenities to have a comfortable vacation. We hope to go again in the near future.

Gem in the northeast kingdom
My husband and I spent 2 nights with his parents at The Akers home. It is such a beautiful place with a fantastic host. Alyssa was very responsive to my questions. We stayed here with our 3 children in the winter. The rooms were all good sizes, the lake view was beautiful. The house was a little hard to find because it is a private road and hadn't been plowed yet, so we couldn't tell exactly where the driveway was at first. Luckily we got there while it was still light out and could figure it out. We would love to go back someday!

Good home for snowmobiling
Snowmobile trailer parking was good and direct trail access was easy. The home had all we needed including a good size mud room for putting on / taking off outside gear. We would definitely request to stay at this home again.

Beautiful lake house
We stayed here with our 3 children in the winter. The rooms were all good sizes, the lake view was beautiful. The house was a little hard to find because it is a private road and hadn't been plowed yet, so we couldn't tell exactly where the driveway was at first. Luckily we got there while it was still light out and could figure it out. We would love to go back someday!

It took us a while to travel up to this region but well worth it!! So peaceful and perfect! First morning we saw a Bald Eagle which a neighbor said there were 2 in a nest in a nearby tree!! Amazing. The house was perfect - clean and comfortable, kitchen/grille great to have full meals. Outdoor area perfect too!! The best was the back porch that could be screened or glass sliders...so no bugs but air with the screens and when it got chilly you just close the slider doors!! Excellent to play games around a table with kids. Friendly neighbors but privacy as well. The lake was nice to paddle around on as well. Thanks so much for sharing your house!! Awesome, Peaceful getaway!!
It took us a while to travel up to this region but well worth it!! So peaceful and perfect! First morning we saw a Bald Eagle which a neighbor said there were 2 in a nest in a nearby tree!! Amazing. The house was perfect - clean and comfortable, kitchen/grille great to have full meals. Outdoor area perfect too!! The best was the back porch that could be screened or glass sliders...so no bugs but air with the screens and when it got chilly you just close the slider doors!! Excellent to play games around a table with kids. Friendly neighbors but privacy as well. The lake was nice to paddle around on as well. Thanks so much for sharing your house!! Quiet, clean, serene
The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The screened in porch, deck, dock, raft, kayaks, and paddle boards were all put to good use and enjoyed immensely. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was exceptional for our snowmobiling weekend. Plenty of parking for the trailer and vehicles. House is well kept, clean, and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. We will certainly return for other vacations with family.
