wide room with very good hot water shower (after long walk in the rain)

This was our first home stay we stayed in Georgia and damn they set the bar high for the rest. we were hiking from Mestia to Ushguli and we were tired and all we arrived at the homestay and were welcomed by the owner who doesn’t speak the best English but we got around that. The food was simply amazing they put the bar very high for the rest!

We stayed for 1 night at Shorenas home stay, as part of our route Mestia-ushguli.
We were greeted by her son and he let us warm up our food and have a tea.
Dinner, breakfast and lunch box was 40 Gel, and Shorena was really warm and helpful.
All the facilities were super clean and we had a great time meeting some of her friends and sharing georgian culture with them.
I would definitely recommend staying at Shorenas.
We did think the drop of to Tetnuldi ski lif was a little expensive for 100 Gel. I guess if its between 4-5 people is reasonable.

The homestay is well situated if one is hiking the alternative from Mestia to Adishi via Tsvirmi. Shorena was friendly. My room was huge and bathroom with hot water was appreciated. Shorena was able to organise a taxi from Tsvirmi to Adishi for myself and other hikers, given the rain
Whilst the price of the room is very affordable, the hostess wanted to charge 40 lari for dinner, which is very expensive compared with other guesthouses where I stayed in the Svaneti (and quality was not as good). Bathroom needs some repairs
