Cannot say enough great things about the condo and location! Condo was clean, modern, and comfortable. Kuau is the perfect location to explore the north and west side of Maui. Quick access to beach, turtles, and downtown Paia. Five stars!

We loved this little condo! My son and I camped for a week on Maui, and we stayed at Kuau Plaza our first two nights. It was perfect! An easy walk to the beach, great kitchen with everything we needed to make meals, comfy beds, laundry machines across a grass lawn, and a lovely place to sit outside and feel that heavenly Hawaii seabreeze. The internet didn’t work on our last night- luckily we didn’t need it- but the host was very responsive when I reached out. All in all a perfect place to start our Maui adventure- we will be back!

We loved this little condo! My son and I camped for a week on Maui, and we stayed at Kuau Plaza our first two nights. It was perfect! An easy walk to the beach, great kitchen with everything we needed to make meals, comfy beds, laundry machines across a grass lawn, and a lovely place to sit outside and feel that heavenly Hawaii seabreeze. The internet didn’t work on our last night- luckily we didn’t need it- but the host was very responsive when I reached out. All in all a perfect place to start our Maui adventure- we will be back!

Great location & property! Close enough to town without being in town. Easy access to the beach. Condo is stocked with all the necessities. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

It is unfortunate that we have to write this review because it seemed like such a cool place in a cool area. When we checked in, the contact number was incorrect. The person we were talking to was literally the cleaner rather than the property manager so they were expecting this lady to answer questions she didn’t know. When we walked inside, it appeared clean at first glance until we saw all the dead flies on the sink in the bathroom. After walking around looking for a broom we found a few dead cockroaches and later that evening and the rest of our stay we saw cockroaches crawling all over the condo. It definitely gave us some worries about the cleanliness of the property and the safety of our food. I think we deserve at least a partial refund especially since we ended up throwing out some of our food (that was sitting out) the morning after we saw the roaches. Unfortunate because it seemed to be a nice property. It Just needs to be managed better

This is a great property with an awesome location! Just steps from the beach where there are turtles swimming. Modern amenities made it very pleasant to stay in.

Great stay
We really enjoyed this North shore condo! It was an older unit but the owners remodeled the entire unit with new upgrades. Very clean! It was well stocked. Mama’s Fish House Restaurant was a 2 minute walk and we walked there several times a day since the beach in front of the restaurant is picturesque!
We would definitely stay here again!

Kitchen was fully stocked. Beach equipment including towels were provided. Actually pretty quiet even though it’s on Hana highway.

I could never speak with a human abs we didn’t receive any information about our rental until the morning we were supposed to check in. That was frustrating and a bit stressful. When we finally received our contact information, she was super kind about granting us a late check out on our last day.

It’s in a great location to explore the Road to Hana (we did Twin Falls one day and the rest of the drive another day) and it’s such a great location if you have a small child. We loved walking to the little store and to Mamas beach to snorkel. Also the property manager Christy is an angel and was a fantastic communicator.

It’s in a great location to explore the Road to Hana (we did Twin Falls one day and the rest of the drive another day) and it’s such a great location if you have a small child. The bedroom had an odor that was very faint but smelled poor (pee). We were unable to trace the root of it during our stay so we didn’t notify the property manager. It wasn’t any of the bedding thank goodness.
The unit does not have a dishwasher / dishes appeared dirty so as a precaution we hand washed all plates, cups, utensils before use / highly recommend doing this.
For this rate our expectations were much higher than what this property could deliver. It is overmatched with no view and no curb appeal. It’s rough asking this price but understand that the owner want to recoup their investment.

Great Jumping point for Road to Hana
We stayed at the condo for 2 nights as a starting point for the Road to Hana and exploring northern Maui. We loved exploring Paia and the condo was a great location for that. The condo is recently remodeled and greatly appointed with everything we needed. Communication was great and they even helped us return to pick up an item I forgot after checkout. Great place!

Cozy and clean.
This was a lovely little condo for two! This was our first time staying in Paia and the condo was pretty much as advertised. The location was great with walking access to a couple nearby beaches including the one in front of Mamas Fish House. A short drive to our favourite beach Hookipa and into Paia. Our favourite thing about the location was the Kuau Store. What a gem for coffee, fresh pastries and sandwiches or poke! The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the extras like a small cooler and insulated coffee mugs.
Decor was really cute and the bed was comfy. Only real complaint is “highway” noise but we were aware this would be likely. Bedside and living room lamps would be nice for reading.
The complex was clean. Cant beat the price!

Bel emplacement
Bon appartement, dommage pour le manque de flexibilité pour la remise des clés que ce soit à l arrivée (retard) et le départ (entre 11,00 et midi grand max). Quand on a un vol à 22.30 et que la pluie est prévue non stop toute la journée, il n y a pas d arrangements possibles pour laisser les valises ou planches de surf. Malgré notre demande polie comme il est proposé dans le contrat, ma femme s est fait raccrocher au nez.

Great location for quiet Paia-town stay
Remodel is fantastic and location is great for the little beach nearby. Nice to be on ground floor if you have little ones: grassy area off patio. Great food and coffee just a few hundred feet up the road.

Beautifully decorated
I absolutely loves this place. It was beautifully decorated. Had every kitchen amenity you could ask for. Christy, who was our go to, was wonderful and very helpful. We walked in and it smelled so clean, the sheets smelled so fresh! the A/c worked great. I love the location. Super close to Ho’okipa beach which is amazing to see the turtles come on the beach at sunset and you see them headed back in the water at Sunrise. (but don’t go near them)
Paia town is super close too. Easy to get to all areas of the island. I like that it is away from the big touristy areas. I do come to Hawaii frequently and will definitely stay here again.
