7 / 10Buono·set 2026

The lodge is a lovely one bedrooms cottage with enormous potential. It is spacious and would make a wonderful base for exploring the area if the kitchen area was better equipped to be able to self cater - and why not ditch the camp bed and plumb in a washing machine under the stairs instead?

Single beds, one of which was very squeaky. Minimal crockery/cutlery/serving dishes - a real shame as there is plenty of space in the kitchen area. The staff were very friendly and helpful but did not manage to get the TV to work.

Property was a great location and had 2 toilets.

It was very close to events happening in the pub car park. The light in the bathroom above the mirror did not turn off. The WiFi did not work. The fridge was temperamental as the door did not close properly. The continental breakfast was a loaf of bread from Morrisons.
