Whale Cove Cottage - Watch the ocean from your bed
Immerso tra le scogliere costiere di Fish Hoek e circondato da un giardino naturale, il cottage offre una vista mozzafiato sulla baia e spesso si vedono delfini e balene che si agitano nelle onde appena sotto la casa.
Addormentarsi al suono delle onde che si infrangono e sentirsi completamente lontano da tutto in natura pur rimanendo a portata di mano di tutto ciò che Cape Town ha da offrire.
Il cottage è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla spiaggia di Fish Hoek con le sue acque cristalline e calde a Città del Capo, è possibile raggiungere il centro di Città del Capo in 30 minuti in auto o un giro pittoresco nel treno locale, passando le altre città costiere.
La camera da letto principale con vista sul mare si apre con porte francesi sul ponte e dispone di un letto queen-size. La seconda camera da letto, con due letti singoli, si trova nel soppalco del soggiorno ed è raggiungibile tramite una scala. C'è un bagno con doccia.
Ci sono strutture BBQ (Braai) nel giardino per quelle notti d'estate e una stufa in ghisa per quelle coccole notti d'inverno.
Il parcheggio è appena fuori la proprietà in un vicolo cieco sicuro.
Il padrone di casa Uta è felice di aiutarvi con qualsiasi consiglio sulle numerose scelte di ristoranti, mercati locali ed eventi nella zona o praticità come noleggio di biciclette e attività all'aperto.

Generalmente ospitiamo solo 4 persone, ma se soggiorni per più di 5 giorni possiamo fornire un materasso extra. Inoltre, proprio accanto a questo cottage c'è una casetta più piccola dello stesso stile che può ospitare altre due persone.
Addormentarsi al suono delle onde che si infrangono e sentirsi completamente lontano da tutto in natura pur rimanendo a portata di mano di tutto ciò che Cape Town ha da offrire.

Wir hatten 5 sehr schöne Tage im Ferienhaus in Fishoek. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Aufenthalt mit Selbstverpflegung braucht. Die gestreifte Couch und der Ausblick auf die Bucht haben es uns angetan. Auf der Terasse lässt sich wunderbar das Meer beobachten, wir hatten das Glück Robben beim Spielen zuschauen zu können. Es ist ein sehr sicherer Ort, Kapstadt ist schnell erreichbar, ebenso Cape Point oder Simons Town. Die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm und herzlich. Ein Ort, den wir unbedingt weiter empfehlen können. Danke Uta!

We spent 10 very enjoyable days in this lovely cottage suspended above the ocean. We could even see a few whales from the balcony! And thanks again to Uta who was both kind and helpful.

We had a great stay in Fish Hoek in August 2018 in this unforgettable cliffside cottage. The accommodation itself is well-equipped and very comfortable, and beautifully presented and clean, with good beds. The views across False Bay are breathtaking and change by the minute - sunshine, storms (we had hail!), rainbows. We enjoyed watching seals playing in the kelp below. The kids loved just sitting on the window bench reading, or looking out to sea. To get such an incredible view you have to be fit enough to manage the 60 steepish steps to reach the front door and, inside the house, the staircase to the upper bedroom needs care with small children. We were able to walk easily to Fish Hoek for a great dinner in Barracudas, and Kalk Bay was a short drive away (a bit more modish with a few more restaurants - recommend Satori for pizza). We reached Cape Town centre by car in about 40 mins, and Cape Point was a similar sort of time (with a stop for the penguins in Simon's Town). The area is also good for running, I enjoyed joining several other joggers on an early morning run to Simon's Town and back (c. 7 miles) along the sea footpath. We also appreciated the strong efforts being made here to encourage water management during the drought. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
