Funks Inn, a post civil war era home restored as it was in 1870.
Christian Funk costruì la casa nel 1870, una struttura in pietra e fu utilizzata come casa colonica di famiglia. Oggi è stato rinnovato per il suo utilizzo. This property was a great place to stay for the week. My wife described it like staying in a museum. The history of the house was very interesting to read about. The quite and rural setting is what we always prefer when we travel. This property was perfect, and if we are ever back in that part of Missouri, this is where we will be staying. Highly recommended.

This was an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience!! Me, my mom & dad, brother & fiance all stayed here & we had the absolute best time! We played games, explored the home, felt cozy, drank coffee, played pool, and listened to music making the best memories all weekend! Lance was the most amazing host & was super accommodating! Very safe place & very beautiful. Will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Funk Inn was the perfect place for our family of 6 to transition back in to the St. Louis area. We were able to enjoy some relaxing time as a family, while still being close enough to visit family in Ste Genevieve and friends in St Louis. Our children enjoyed the chance to explore the beautiful property surrounding the house during the day and to do some star gazing while sitting around the fire pit in the evening. The house amenities made it convenient for our children to attend school remotely and my wife to login for work during our extended stay. I would would definitely recommend Funk Inn to anyone looking for a quiet get away or just a change of scenery while staying connected to your daily routines.
