Situato vicino alla storica baia di Utsalady ea pochi minuti da negozi, ristoranti, golf e spiagge. Divertiti seduto sul portico anteriore a guardare il mondo che passa, o accomodati all'interno con un buon libro o un film. Fai una passeggiata o vai in bicicletta lungo una delle strade più storiche dell'isola di Camano e guarda il tramonto sulla baia.

This is the perfect get away home for one person or a small family. The property is situated right in the midst of bayside walking and easy driving to all the island amenities. It's setting is next to a large field which gives one a sense of space and serenity at this very gracious get away home.

We have a family cabin nearby and needed extra bedrooms for people. The Arlene was perfect! Beautiful and clean.

Aside from how beautifully this historic house has been redone (truly amazing details), what really knocked it out of the park for us were the owners' supportive, reliable communication and the cleanliness of the place. We have to be sticklers for clean surroundings due to immunosuppression, and this is, hands down, the cleanest place we've ever stayed. The beds were super comfy, the book selection fantastic, and the porch perfect for a morning cup of tea. We hope to return one day with our older teen who loves bird watching, and this place is perfect for that. Thank you so much!

The house was beautiful and the host was amazing. Excellent communication and everything you could possibly need. I would recommend this place to anyone who is considering going to the area.

We are repeat customers at this location and we just love it. The owners did an awesome job at renovating this farmhouse, we had everything we needed to cook while onsite (which is a big thing for us); the location on Camano Island is also beautiful and relatively close to Stanwood where you have more options for provisions and dining as well.

We traveled to Camano Island to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The Arlene was the perfect haven to recover from the family chaos. ;-) In all seriousness, there wasn't space for us to stay with family so it was great to have such a wonderful space to retreat to at the end of the day. Incredibly quiet, beautifully decorated, fully equipped. And wow, the croissants that we found waiting for us on our arrival were incredible. Such a welcome surprise treat! Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the outdoor space and fire pit as well. Next time!

The home is lovely, clean and perfect for 2 couples or a family. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it to others. This house does not disappoint, the.pictures on the website clearly represent the home. The decorating was beautiful and the home was super clean.

We loved the Arlene! The house is a charming old farmhouse with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. We spent our evenings around the fire pit under the string lights tucked into the juniper trees! I loved the original hardwood floors and rich history of the house. We were welcomed with some nice personal touches and Marla was a gracious host.
I was surprised at how busy the road outside the house was, it didn’t keep us awake or anything but it is definitely a well traveled street, something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. The house is also on a well, and well water has a unique smell and feel if you are not used to it.
We would absolutely return to the Arlene, and hope to someday!

Charming modern farmhouse
This property is a gem! Our hosts had a sweet personalized welcome sign upon our arrival. The clean " modern farmhouse " has everything you could possibly need and is in a great location on beautiful Camano Island! Thanks fir the hospitality!

Hummingbirds Galore
Loved watching the Hummingbirds feeding on the crocosmia! And the kitchen was nice and large enought to have help with making meals. We loved the big yard and wished we had the time to play Bocci. We will definitely stay again!

The home is a clean and quaint, and a quick drive to restaurants and the beach. The hosts are very kind, and the home has all of the amenities one could need to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

The restored farmhouse is beautifully decorated and the size and layout met our needs perfectfully! The house had EVERYTHING we needed, from a Keurig to Ziploc bags. The area where the farmhouse is located is so peaceful. We were able to walk to the nearby bay and catch some pretty spectacular sunsets! We also enjoyed fresh apples from the tree next to the farmhouse. Marla personalized our stay with a welcome sign in the kitchen and a cute package of S'mores ingredients....which was of use sitting out by the firepit in the Adirondack chairs. Did I say peaceful?! Overall, this is just a beautiful and welcoming farmhouse with very responsive owners! We will visit again!

My husband and I came to Camano Island to visit family and we all loved the house!! It was incredibly clean and well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the laundry room. We absolutely loved flipping through the book detailing the renovation of the property. We enjoyed a fire outside at sunset on our last night and will certainly stay here when we return next summer.

The Arlene was comfortable and spacious for our anniversary weekend. My husband loves to cook breakfast and it had all of the essentials. It was so close to the restaurants and shops in the island. It was clean and had a great living room for reading and watching movies. There was a little struggle with the check in, but was resolved within an hour or so. It was a relaxing place to stay!

The beds are probably some of the most comfortable we've slept in on vacation. The attention to detail, all the amenities and personal touches really made us feel like we were at home. This was a vacation that our family was sad to see come to an end; we miss Arlene already.
