Good

The room was so clean, the staff was friendly i came back at 3 a.m they did not have a problem with opening the gate at that time❤️

The bathroom was not exceptionally clean.

Friendly and welcoming

The staff were amazing! I was picked up at the airport by the owner and we had a lovely conversation on the way to the backpackers. He will also suggest several things to check out in Durban which made me wish I was staying longer. The room was clean and comfy and there was a common kitchen area that guests can use. If I ever return to Durban, I will stay here again!

The stay was awesome!!!

Felt like home. Friendly and nice hosts who catered for my needs. Always checked if I was okay. I’d come back here anytime. You also get free coffee.

Friendly helpful God fearing family 👪 comfortable, safe and very homely space. I enjoyed talking to them about everything, I learned a lot from them . I highly recommend this place. Ohh one more thing: Meeting other beloved guests had been a great experience. Thank you Guy's a lot. I will be back soon, already miss your free coffee and hot shower bath. Dankooo👨‍👩‍👦♨️

I had a great weekend filled with lots of love

Location is fine, the yard is beautiful, safe for children. Warm welcoming, found more information about the place.

I felt comfortable and homely. Lovely owners.

It is located in a quaint neighbourhood and views from this home was beautiful. The owners made sure that I feel home away from home.

Nothing as such. Only that if there were some shops nearby that would have been great.

Mkhumbane Backpackers value for money

The host was very good to me, I came in very awkward hours everyday and without a sweat he and his family accommodated my rediculas schedule. There was absolutely nothing that I did not like. The water was always hot, the room clean. That's all I needed. A bed and a shower. He shared his life story with me and I really liked that. When my people where looking for a place of worship, he gladly recommended one at my request and we had a blast.
