There was nothing we didn’t like. It’s probably the best lodge we have ever stayed in, should have booked a longer stay we will re book next year absolutely fabulous place. And the owl chorus most nights for us was the icing on the cake.

It had all we need, was comfortable and was very clean

The hot tub and the surrounding gardens and woods

Well where to start….. the drive was pleasant lots to see and then you arrive at a beautiful stone wall with electric gates and a beautiful drive up to some stunning views. Then cottage’s and lodges all fully equipped for your stay. The lodge was beautiful spotless clean and a smell of freshness and wood as if it was new . The bath was exceptional, the kitchen very well equipped just like being at home , the wine fridge was a life saver . Tea,coffee, suger, salt, pepper, milk were also provided with a basket of fresh coffee and biscuits…. Went down a treat. I had the best nights sleep in a beautiful loft style bedroom and was surprised to find another bedroom with two fully size single beds . The hut tub was therapy well needed . Honestly this place is a hidden gem. Such a beautiful place with many options for bigger family’s .
