Hotel Astoria Palace

I liked the location of the hotel . Restaurant staff members were pleasant as well as the gentlemen at the door entrance and those assisting with luggages.

I did like the fact that they didn't have an Iron and you had to request a laundry service at an additional fee. This information was gonna be valuable at a booking stage to ensure convenience and proper planning. Some front desk employees were not as friendly and seemed impatient , while some were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Location: Excellent position on Copacabana with stunning rooftop views of the beach and Christ the Redeemer. Room: Deluxe Room with view was spacious with a comfortable king bed. Staff: Super helpful and welcoming even with language barriers. Food: Pleasant and simple free breakfast.

Cons: Limited English-speaking channels on TV. The jacuzzi tub and shower layout was a bit awkward to navigate.

Camere molto confortevoli e moderne. Colazione molto curata e variegata. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile a dare informazioni. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Nulla

The location

The room was not clean. My towels and sheets all had stains on them, mould in the shower, dust on the floor etc. My friend staying in another room had a very bad experience with support from reception, where a bulb fell out of the ceiling light in the bathroom, almost hitting her and shattering on the floor. It took them over 3 hours to send someone to clean up the broken glass, despite multiple requests, and by the time they did send someone, the cleaning staff had left for the day so they sent someone else who did not properly clean up the glass. My friend had to get the broom and clean it up herself, which is unacceptable in a hotel advertising itself as 4 stars. The sofas and chairs in the lobby were also dirty and stained.
