The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Pariou, Issoire

Quiet room, large bed, decent shower. Breakfast had fair choice of hot and cold options and was reasonably priced. Plenty of room

We couldn’t spot the hotel car park entrance, don’t think it had a sign. Ended up in public car park 200 m away so no big deal. The hotel has separate buildings for some rooms, also the breakfast room. Fine while it’s dry but….

The spacious room, the location (very close to the city centre with a parking on site), the friendly staff and the lovely swimming pool.

Lovely staff on reception. Good facilities in room, all clean and quiet. Very good parking in hotel car park.

Arrived for breakfast at before 9.30am (closed at 10am) - I think we may have been the last expected guests as lots not available and clearing away. There was an electrical problem in room - some sockets and cooler not working on arrival. Strange lift stopped on level between floors!

The room we eventually got was clean and reasonably comfortable for a hotel of this cost.

The reception we were given was terrible. The receptionist was unfriendly and curt, and made no apology for the fact that the hotel's restaurant was closed (which was not stated on their website or Booking.com's) despite the fact that ability to eat at the hotel was a key reason for our booking - we were tired after a long day's driving and did not want to have to go out to eat. We were then given the key to a room which was already occupied (only comment from reception : "it happens") and the information given by the hotel about hours that the pool was open was incorrect. (In fairness, a second member of reception, perhaps embarrassed by the attitude of the first, did attempt to make some amends.) Booking.com also has a responsibility to ensure that the information it provides is correct!
