The staff were great and the terrace was really pretty!

Our room was pleasant but we could hear all the noise from the lift and other guests in the hotel.

The hotel is very nice and very close to the harbor when you get off the boats. However, the area tends to become very congested with tourists, taxis and buses. The plus side is that sheer 6pm, the tourists leave the island so you practically have the place to yourselves with the locals which is a very nice bonus. The front desk staff were very helpful overall. They answered questions and even tried to get me information about a pedicure and a massage which I didn't do after all but I appreciated their efforts.

My only major complaint was allowing smoking on the balcony while guests are trying to enjoy their meals or enjoy the scenery. We had a quiet dinner one night during our stay, only for it to be disrupted by other people sitting on the balcony 10 feet from us. I have problems with smoking being near me and immediately start coughing. I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress that evening and she kept saying that "yes you can smoke" when I told her that the smoking bothered me. After trying to explain to her and make her understand my situation, she asked the people of they could stop smoking, which they did, for about 10 minutes then proceeded to smoke. We told the second waiter and he mentioned that people are allowed to smoke. To make matters worse, they weren't even staying at the hotel! A little consideration would have gone a long way if they just stopped. My suggestion would be to make the entire hotel non-smoking or have a designated area for smoking which is away from the dining area or close off the eating area by bringing the screen down. It makes no sense to have a designated non-smoking area that is in open air space close to where people are allowed to smoke. That incident ruined the rest of my stay because I kept coughing and hacking the rest of the time I was there.

Location is good. Still rooms are very small. In such category of the hotel, we expect higher quality of breakfast.

Taken into account my traveler experience for more than 20 years , 4 star hotel for such price could offer higher service and facilities. The dinner at the terrace restaurant was very bad. From menu there were available less that 50 % of the menu. Also we have to check the bill, where instead of price of wine bottle there were 2 times higher price- 38 euro v.s. 80 euro. The wine was not chilled. The level of the restaurant was equal to 1 star hotel.

The breakfast and restaurant staff are really great.

Not the hotels fault, but this is not the best location in Capri by far. Luxury is in the hotel name, but I'm sorry, this is not a luxury hotel. It's a nice enough hotel, but it's overpriced for what you get. There are better places in better locations for the price. Please, for the staff - note, it's not necessary to constantly upsell. We already overpaid for our rooms, which are small. If we need anything additional, we'll ask for it. The manager is really helpful, but unfortunately the room cleaners don't do a great job or don't clean your room at all and you need to call the front desk to ask for basics like towels and toilet paper. The front desk also don't know how to take a room service order and the times of service are somewhat limited (which is also not a feature if the hotel is a luxury hotel).
