La posizione ottima. L'hotel è molto carino. Le camere sono piccoline ma funzionali e ben organizzate. Il letto comodo. C'è il bollitore, asciugacapelli e prodotti per l'igiene. Nonostante la posizione centralissima le camere sono ben insonorizzate e si riesce a riposare bene. Ottima accoglienza.

We had booked TOC Hotel las Ramblas, but for some reason it was not possible to keep our reservation there and we were moved to TOC Hostel near Universitat. Even though it was not as close to Ramblas, it is a very central location with easy access to transports. "Universitat" metro with 2 lines in a short walk, and less that 10 minutes walk from Passeig di Gracia and Catalunya train stations.

The staff had trouble understanding or expressing in other languages. This is a general issue in Spain.

Very disgusting service!!! We have booked a room for 4 people for 2-4 August 2023 in a month. 5 days before check-in, we get a call from the hotel and they say that the hotel will not be open these days because of their problems with documents. And they will put us in their hostel in a dorm room for 8 people, but supposedly we will only be there in four, although they have more comfortable rooms in this hostel with a double bed for 4 people. To my indignation, they said "stay in such conditions or you will cancel your reservation", but taking into account the tourist season, it was not possible to find a suitable option for such a period and at an affordable price where you could stay. We agreed, but on the condition that all the conditions in the room will be the same as they should be in our hotel. We were told that everything would be as we have in the booking. When we checked in, of all the promised things, there was only a towel. When contacting the reception, the lady in the front desk, spoke very arrogantly, as if it was my fault that they did not open. It turned out to ask them for an iron and a hair dryer, which they brought to us only after 30mins-1hour. When asked to provide us with a kettle, because my mother often drinks tea in the room, she said that it is only in the dining room. In which you need to go through the whole building, and they will not be able to provide us with a kettle in the room. And that we ourselves agreed to such conditions, although we were promised that everything would be the same as it is written in our booking. On the day of the check-out, we should have had time until 11 o'clock, but at 10:30 a housekeeper came into our room without knocking and began to clean the bedsheets in our presence, even if our things had not been collected yet. After a request from my side to wait until 11 (the time that should have been at our disposal) I was refused and she continued to clean up our things.

Location, just 1 minute walking from Boqueria Market, big room and kind staff, always with a smile!

Tv in the room not working, no kettle in the room, coffee machine on the ground floor also broken. To be fair the staff offered to use their microwave for my coffee but I feel that with a little of basic maintenance it would have been a better value for money!

Do not stay here, there are many better, friendlier and cleaner places nearby.

No aircon in our room in the middle of summer. Receptionist at the time was extremely unhelpful, wouldnt come up to our room or help in any way. Told us to 'open a window' - when the heat doesnt drop below 30 celcius and there is no aircon, our room was like a sauna. With a very very unhelp receptionist, I called them again at 1am as we couldnt sleep and thankfully got someone else. A man came up to our room and provided a fan. This just blew hot air around the room. We checked our early morning as couldnt sleep. I asked for a discount on the room - considering i paid for a room with aircon and didnt receive that, and they said there was nothing they could do. We stayed at another hostel with private room nearby which was half the price and it was wonderful. I dont think asking for compensation (i did not ask for a full refund) was too much to ask, and the lack of customer service and response is disgraceful. The lack of aircon ruined our stay in Barcelona. The fact we paid for a room with this amenity and didnt receive it would warrent some form of compensation. If this was received i wouldnt have written a review. One of the worst hotel experiences i have had. Your response to my review indicates you know that we did not receive what we paid for. Yet you do not do anything about it. Just like all your other responses...

As already very well described in one of the comments, do not book a single person room here. You’ll end up with a very small dusty, musty, not ventilated room right next to a noisy cracking elevator that keeps you up at night. The man that was the night receptionist came straight out of a cartoon movie; he was very unfriendly to me and other guests and seemed very sad with his job. Not representative at all!

Very good location - 2 mins walk to Rambla. 4 mins walk to metro station. Everything very clean.

Room was tiny - double bed filled the room almost entirely with one side completely jammed against a wall, so hard to get in and out of. Toilet lid was broken.

Excellent location just walking get to la Rambla , Cataluña plaza , Barceloneta beach , the acuarium Excellent staff

Under the beds quite dusted and tv didn’t work but sister from that very satisfied I would recommend it 🤗

Location for this hotel was the highlight. Staff were nice and friendly. Clean and comfortable beds. Budget friendly considering its location

Modern and clean

Access through the front door, when receptionist not present, is imposable. Meaning you are stuck on the street pressing a buzzer, which no one hears! Better solution may be to have a card reader for guests entry, like each room has?

There is some mold growing in the bathroom because they do not have air vent to ventilate the stem out when you shower and the whole bathroom gets wet from it and stay wet for a long time. It is a shame because the bathrooms are very nicely done.

Staff were great and very helpful, hotel very clean.

Only downside was the bed! Really cheap bed and thin mattress - very,very uncomfortable. Hurt my back and my husbands hips. Only thing that would put me off going back.

Location, price

The location was perfect, the 24h reception was great and the receptionists were extremely helpful, amazing and kind. The room was super clean and very comfortable. Even though it was a small room we didn't have any issues. Overall it definitely exceeded our expectations.

The only thing that wasn't great about the room was the lighting. Since the little bed lights were not working and the only two lighting options were relying on the light from the bathroom or having the room light on. But this wasn't too bad and overall we have no bad criticisms.

The room was nice and the size was ok. It was clean and the stuff was very polite and helpfull. The location is absolutelly great, just next to the big boqueria market where u can get spices, sweets and other food things. Very near metro station as well.

It took a bit more time for water in the bath to go, so the outlet was a bit blocked maybe.

All reception staff were very kind:Alex, Francesc and other receptionists.. Thank you to each!! We had a great holiday with my sister.Love from Istanbul! Also location of hotel was great!

Very close to La Rambla and to the Boqueria Market makes this little hotel very attractive. rooms are cozy but very clean.
