The Salmar - Adults Only

My room was outstanding, comfortable, great size, kitchenette was perfect and had all that I needed, particularly coffee machine, layout was inviting to relax in, great view, black out curtains if needed, robes and slippers provided - nice touch, superb shower gel/shampoo/conditioner, very clean, lovely walk-in shower, the balcony I had was huge, loungers and chairs, plus a big bath tub (unusual). But decided to have bubble bath in swimming costume as open air, a luxurious experience. Buffet breakfast was superb. The staff were helpful and delightful, and friendly and always keen to help if had a question - credit to management as means well trained and have the right culture fit. Ate at onsite restaurant, which was superb. The service was excellent as was the food. Plenty of loungers around pool and jacuzzi was nice touch, as was the onsite library. The pillow menu was unique.

This was a first time visit. The placement of water dispenser was not clear initially, to fill up jug/bottles. I struggled a little with the shower of how to adjust water temperature, a bit frustrating, perhaps a small card to explain would be helpful. An explanation of the how the air conditioner worked would also be helpful i.e it only comes on if the sliding door and front door are closed - makes sense economically.

Beautiful refurbished hotel. Bright and spacious. Rooms exceptional fridge microwave plenty of dishes cutlery if you want to eat in. Water available on every floor. Staff friendly and helpful. (Victor on reception was just lovely. Ubay and Ana on breakfast and bar and the lovely cleaners to name just a few.) Cava on arrival at check in and at breakfast every morning. Selection at breakfast just superb. Girl who made omelette and eggs outstanding. Restaurant at night was lovely. So was the bar food. We stayed 4 nights can't wait to go back everything was perfect.

Complete no smoking policy.

It was very quiet so great for relaxing. The rooms must be well insulated as no sounds at all were heard from outside the room at all. The decor in the room was excellent, a lot of thought had gone into the design and colour scheme.
