This hotel was excellent in so many ways..location, value, amenities. It's on the main street and walking distance to sites. Totally recommend.

The room was a little larger than most, had a mini kitchen and good shower and fairly quiet. Good location for bus and metro and local cafes.

Big comfortable room with nice bed, sofa and kitchenette. Electric kettle and iron provided immediately upon request. Bathroom with bidet. Good strong shower. Excellent location overlooking Gran Via. Close to many halal restaurants, supermarkets, small grocery stores and large department stores, bus, metro. 3 elevators to rooms (some city hotels have only 1).
3 unavoidable flights of stairs. First from street level main entrance to elevator. Second from elevator to restaurant level. Third from there to reception. Fortunately the elevators to rooms are right in front of reception. They are short flights, but with heavy luggage, are still a significant inconvenience. That's the only negative aspect though, stopping me from giving a 9. Hotel claims to accept Amex, but it failed for me and had to use a different card. I used my Amex successfully in many places throughout my stay in Madrid before and after the hotel payment, so I know it's not a problem with my card.

It feels good to stay here, there are many restaurants and shops next to it, and the transportation is very convenient. The area is large, and the room I live in has a kitchenette

The staff is extremely attentive. Beds are really comfortable; kitchenette is useful and reasonably equipped. Bathroom is surprisingly nice.
Too much noise from the street, as windows are not properly sealed. Also, and although there is mechanical help, lots of stairs to get to the lobby.

Location perfect at Gran Via, room was ok and very silent
Can't recommend to book with breakfast and dinner. Only dishes with meat and the lady from the restaurant was not willing to provide us an alternative like only the salade and pommes frites. The quality of the meat wasn't even good. We stayed 2 days but the second evening we decided to pay extra and went out for dinner. Breakfast was ok and the lady from the morning shift much more motivated. The hotel is ok for a few days only and eating outside

Great location just at main street Gran Via - close to any places you want see at your trip at Madrid (old town, metro, tapas bar, shoppings etc...). Very helpful staff at the reception!
Breakfast could be more varied but generally very good and with a pleasant service
